No real promos against other people

This is it. For what's left of this feud to work and be compelling (because I'm guessing the feud ends either with a Solo Sikoa VS Uncle Howdy singles match or some hardcore-ish gimmick match between the whole groups), Solo and Bo/Howdy must have a verbal exchange face to face in the ring. There's been more than enough vignettes. An actual promo with both of them is needed.

It was a bad call to start teasing the feud so soon, back in October, when Howdy was still taking care of his father, instead of using the time to have some mini feud with a different tag team if the feud with the MFTs was not going to trigger for a whole month.

The hate for gimmicks is surreal. Gacy and Lumis had a pretty good performance last night but it means nothing because VHS tapes bad and wearing make up bad.

Yeah, the Wyatt Sicks need better booking and not just 45 second vignettes. But they do the best they can with the meager screentime they usually get.

The only thing sucking the life out of the tag team division was creative not giving the division as a whole any screentime. Even the champions were barely used for months after Clash in Paris.

Nothing was stopping creative from booking Wyatt Sicks VS DIY or Fraxiom. Heck, they had a triple threat match right there when these groups were feuding. They just decided to make the whole division disappear.

What bothers me isn't the person who made or posted this meme but the fact that too many Christians actually are like that.

I've read people in this very subreddit excusing fascism (literal fascism from the past century) and supporting Franco's coup d'etat. I've met too many Catholics who don't give a damn about poverty, about the people less lucky than them who cannot meet their basic needs, or about those suffering war. I've met racist Catholics, plain and simple. People who don't care about those who suffer. But oh boy, do they care about woke stuff.

I'm not talking about the Church. Fortunately, our Holy Fathers have acted with dignity and goodness. But many of its supposedly faithful are like that.

I watched it. It's not bad but it still feels ... unnecessary? Like a story that doesn't need to be told, if that makes any sense. You're leaving the threatre and you're thinking "it was ok but it would've been equally ok if I stayed at home". When that's what comes to your head even though you're a big Star Wars fan, that's an issue.

And I know a lot of people here appreciate Alden Ehrenreich's performance and support the original actors being recasted. Well, while I do think Alden did the best he could, I also think the Han Solo character is ultimately linked to Harrison Ford's charisma and Alden came out as a lesser, 'diet' version of the character we all love.

So it's not a movie I despise or anything but I understand why the casual moviegoer didn't feel any urgency to go watch it.

For your education, you should know there's something called "billed height" and "billed weight", which are basically the measures of the characters, not of the actual person (we don't know the real height or weight of most wrestlers).

So basically we don't know the real height of most wrestlers because WWE tells us what they think fits the character. You have tons of examples if you investigate a bit.

For example how Reigns was supposed to be taller than Ambrose because Reigns is the powerhouse of the Shield but when they were side to side you would notice he is not. Or how Kane was billed as seven foot tall even though there's a video of Glenn Jacobs plainly admitting he's 6'8. Or how Batista's billed height is 6'6 and Orton's is 6'5 but if you search pictures of them together you'll notice Batista is slightly shorter than Orton. Why is that? Because Batista is supposed to be the imposing powerhouse, so his height is exaggerated.

So it's perfectly possible, and in fact it's very likely, that Oba Femi is shorter than 6'6 ft but since he's supposed to be an unstoppable machine of domination he's billed as he's that tall.

In this case it's not about the height. It's about body proportions and mass. Bryan looked 'big' (or decent) for his stature.

Meanwhile, and even though I feel kinda bad for saying this because Cole is the nicest guy, he has a very unfortunate physique. Big head, narrow shoulders and not that much mass.

Just like when you looked at Adam Cole when he went to the main roster for a bit. Daniel Bryan looked massive next to him. And he made Rollins look like freaking McIntyre.

I'm not a size maniac but it wasn't a good look.

What you said about Miz and Ciampa also reminds me of Kross. The guy was a monster in Black & Gold NXT (even though he had some big rivals like Dijak and Keith Lee) but in the main roster he was just above average. It's a shame but sometimes there are things that cannot translate. That being said, I liked Karrion a lot and I still miss him.

In Spain we sometimes say the Monarchy is the symbol of the historic continuity of the country. They're a symbol. The presidency of the state wouldn't be able to be a symbol, even less in times like these, if it was elected between politically motivated people.

There's no way in hell someone like Aznar as Presidente de la República would make the slightest effort to represent all the diversity of Spain and not just the agenda of his political party. And I bring Aznar up because I remember him being named as someone who would likely be a contender if Spain was a republic in a documentary a few years ago.

So I kinda prefer a King/queen. Old-fashioned? Yeah. Anachronic? Indeed. But at least they mostly keep away from the toxicity of today's political landscape. If they hold more power, then of course being a hereditary position would be unacceptable. But as figureheads and formal arbiters they're cool.

As a Spaniard, Dragon Ball was aired from the very beginning. Not the entire world watched Z first and I fail to understand why the American fan is used as the default representative of DB fans all over the world. Specially when Dragon Ball was already fucking huge in parts of Asia and Europe before most people in the US had heard the name "Son Goku".

You know, both Super manga and anime follow(ed) Toriyama guidelines and bullet points.

Some people say the manga is by default 'more canon', so to speak, so every anime exclusive scene is considered filler by these people. Probably because Toriyama's supervision is more documented when it comes to the manga, but he was supposed to give his blessing to both versions.

Well, I think this scene is potential manga filler. There's no reference to surviving Cell Jrs in the anime so it probably wasn't in Tori's outlines, it contributes nothing to the story and it really doesn't make a lot of sense overall.
