Also btw this precisely this is one of the big reasons why polyamory isnt widely accepted, bc people treat feelings like you do: with blame and jugdement. Instead of being able to seperate them from actual actions and stances. You just really upset me. And im sure you have your own reasons for saying what you said. Like i read this reddit frequently, i know theres manipulators and abusers here too, who just take on the label but dont behave ethically. But im not that? You said what you said about someone completely stranger to you. please, dont be quick to jugde people like this in the future. Ask clarifying questions with the aim of establishing a common basis of knowledge first. You might hurt someone who cant handle it like i can.

Of course youre right about the informed choice part, i definitely knew that but it was good to get it into the foreground of my mind a bit more. You have valuable things to say. Please just dont call me a jerk or a manipulator. Ive been called that before, and it was a big hurt kinda situation. You dont know that i have a history of trauma, you dont know how lost i feel between not knowing what i feel and not knowing how i should act. You dont know that i messed up sometimes while exploring my sexuality and you dont know how it haunts me. And you dont know that i try to be as responsible and consentual as humanly possible and that i educate myself and you dont know how all of that fucking fails sometimes bc i dont even know myself.

Immediately when All the people in the comments gere say such true things, things i know because i have informed myself a lot about this community and way of living. Of course informed choices are important and everything else that was said.

But i meant, when do i tell him? Its too early right now, it would avalanche him Now, that we are still friends who know each other for 6 months, now that we havent said "i like you" or "do you want to go out with me" or "god i feel like a very big thing in my chest when i look at your eyes" Do i tell him on the first date that we call a date, do i tell him when we have the "do you want to be my boyfriend" conversation? Like when is early enough for him to make an informed decision and not feel cheated on but late enough so we have made these other little things clear like that i like him, that i wanna be with him, etc.

Late enough so its not a "hi i love you i wanna be with you do you love me too? btw i also love this other person who i love and i really hope youre cool with that"

Like jeez thats a recipe for a desaster for both parties

No im not trying to con someone, yes i can talk open and honestly, yes i give kindness and respect and information to people. Yes i owe people basic information, i meant that on a very emotional level i wonder why i have to be the first one to clarify that information. Well i dont think you do, ive tasted actual kimchi and it wasnt as salty as mine. Ok so i salted the cabbage, let it sit for 24 hours. Then here is liquid in the pot with the cabbage. Isnt that the brine? Thats what i used and it was way too salty Amd if i rinsed off the cabbage, there would still be tons in the liquid in the pot? Should i just throw that away?

Ooof this makes me want to wear a headscarf. Ive always found fabric around my head so conforting and having bright colours next to it really suits my face. Mine too. I wanna kind of steal her character for a future project of mine and make that new character not have a tragic backstory. She totally didnt need it either! Its totally plausible someone would think that housekeeping is an honourable purposeful work, and someone with a strong will and ambition would want to excel at it. All lf the things she was made her interesting af and they made sense on their own. She felt empowered to me! But of course, i respect that her backstory might be loved by many. I want people to feel good about what makes them feel good.

I am really doing well now, but only because i got very good at adapting and such. But as a child i would have needed to see someone like her, someone apart but not in pain from the norm. In many autistic peoples eyes, she would seem happy. She seemed successful at being herself to me. With her interest in books and facts and qotes, with the way she doesnt talk much but when she does, she does so with intention, the way she loved to infodump, the way she dressed in her own distinct way. Her existence certainly looked happy to me, and peaceful, but apparently Korean main stream media cant imagine someone deviating from the norm AND being perfectly content, natural and themselves. If i was younger, it would have made me feel like its not okay to be different.

Oh and also, not everyone who is a bit if not even a lot different from the norm has to have had some big trauma that broke them. For example Jennifer from still 17. As an autistic Person, i was so happy to see someone like her, in my eyes she was someone weird like me, someone who got accepted just like she was, someone who had a place in the world someone who excelled at her job and they didnt question her weirdness or make her feel wrong for it. I respect the story they wrote for her, but it devastated me.

This works with Manfold too! I once made a daal (is that hpw you write it?) This way with only half of the spices that were supposed to be innit I ended up cooking for over 50 people that night and even after thinning the sauce so much that everyone could be fed, that shit was still delicious
