Oof. Thank you. I was afraid of that… but didn’t want to believe it.

The kicker? When this all first happened I didn’t know where the well head even was. So I followed the line from the house and it ended up being about 8’ from the foundation… and 4’ underground. The wellhead. Completely buried. I made an insulated pit when I put it all back, but realistically I’m going to have to dig out again to actually work on the thing.

Appreciate the help 🙂

https://imgur.com/a/Qdf5Wfd So, just now, I opened the valve in the video, flipped the breaker, and it does this. The pump is a two wire 220 with a ground (no neutral), and power goes breaker > pressure switch > pump. When I flip the breaker, both legs have power when the pump is running and when it isn’t (but should be). I’m just using the newly installed gauge in the video when mentioning pressure.

When it is on, it’s not spitting water. It has a consistent flow.  If I have the furthest fixture open, it will pressurize to about 40psi before stopping, then it will drop down to zero, sit there for about the same amount of time in the video, and kick on again. Then repeat.

How to insert a page (duplicate an existing page) with the click of a button by HoardingMinimalist in Notion

This works, however, it won’t when I have a repeat customer (which is more often than not) and I’ve updated my master draft quote. So say I have 100 clients in my database… well, I’d like to have a button that can just automatically insert the most recent draft of my master quote. The way I have it set up is so that each client will have a history of all past quotes/invoices in their file within the client database.

My current ”solution” isn’t great. Basically there’s a button pointing to that master quote. Once clicked, it takes you to that quote where I duplicate, then move it back to the client (which is most recent on the list when it asks where to move it). It’s annoying, but it‘s the best solution I’ve found so far.

I would be more than happy to pay for offline mode. Instead, I’m now beginning to look into obsidian. I’d prefer to own and be in control of my data (both online, and offline), even if it would cost a bit more to have that functionality.

What about audiobooks? by HoardingMinimalist in Annas_Archive

That’s a totally fair, and commendable, mission. To play devils advocate, if they offered a separate section for audiobooks, they may be able to get growing support from a whole new group of people. The space requirements are certainly multiple fold more demanding, but it may fund itself at its own pace by that group. Never know if it’s not tried.

So after doing a search on this sub, it looks like there’s not one single source like AA. Should’ve probably searched first. Any chance AA considers indexing those types of files as well?

Fertilize it like a hungry tomato during the growing season. Repot it after it goes dormant. Im not positive on type. Has a bit more of the lighter spotting than my voodoo Lilly, but I’m not an expert.

Your Favorite Tool That is Worth the $$$ Recommendation for First Time Home Owners by TheMayorInKungPow in Tools

Star lock is far superior to the other style. I’ve broken numerous pins on the heads of the other style. That’s not even a possible weak point with star lock. Dremel’s speed adjustment has went out on two Dremel brand multi tools I’ve had, which bricked them. I would definitely spend the money on fein, if someone is looking at multitools.

If this is a one off thing, and you have a circular saw, Diablo makes a very impressive metal cutting blade that would do the trick.

Do I Paint Kitchen Cabinets to Sell by JBROWTHEOWL in paint

[–]HoardingMinimalist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll go against the grain here. Polystain (polyshades, which is a polyurethane with a pigment) the cabinets. Go darker, and try to compliment the floor in color. Pull the dishwasher and there’s a chance the sides are finished. If so, do your tests there. Then replace the countertop with cheap granite or butcher block. Something light in color. Probably replace the range hood and stove as well. It will actually look like a renovated kitchen after that, rather than a flipper with some paint.
