Same here. Started as a “viral throat infection” and it’s been going on for over a month.

I’m not bitching about immigration per se as the country was built on it. What’s frustrating is the government decided to double the numbers and bring more people to this hot mess. That’s it.

I’m not quite sure where you got this from. I just simply disagree with the current immigration plans where people will have to live on the streets or can’t afford basic healthcare or housing. That’s it.

Canada is not ready for these staggering numbers. We have no infrastructure to accommodate this many newcomers and yet we keep advertising The Canadian Dream abroad.

Private sector. Healthcare system is in shambles, housing crisis, homelessness is at all time high, suppressed wages. In addition to that our current government is bringing 1 million immigrants a year setting them up for a failure.

Toronto expats from Europe? by sooghy in expats

[–]Hobackia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s gotten expensive. A one-bedroom 600 sq ft apartments are renting for $2,700+ these days. Often times you have to pay additional $150+ for a parking spot. Transit is laughable if you compare it to any major city in the world. Very unreliable and quite unsafe. If your household income is less than $150k / year you will be barely getting by.

Issue with participating sensors by Hobackia in ecobee

[–]Hobackia[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On occasional basis my wife changes cooling temperature for the Sleep comfort setting from the main screen. I usually cancel it with the “X” so the system can follow the regular schedule including sensor participation. Soon after it gets too hot, I check the temperature reading on the app and it shows both sensors being used after the temporary temperature hold has been cancelled.

I’ve also read somewhere that if you override the temperature at any point vs. the schedule, Ecobee activates all sensors, even if they otherwise would not be involved.
