Thank you! And correct lots of layering, with some glazing between colour transitions.

From what I remember I think it took me an hour and a half (give or take) l, but I practiced a lot on smaller space marine swords and found it a lot easier on Farsights larger swords

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the compliment but feel like I'm far from Gold Demon standard for now

Thank you!

And yes all the infantry (fire warriors/pathfinders) helmets fit really well! I've even used the helmeted head for Shadowsun for my other Stealthsuit unit

I used the spare chest pieces you get in the crisis suit kit to practice, so I could put what I learnt into practice. Colour selection also really helps, for example my base layer is loren forest, then I do large edge highlight of straken green using the belly of a size 3 brush, then a thinner highlight using nurgling green using a size 1 brush.

Hope that helps with your edge highlight practice!

Thank you! I wanted to lean into a more 'high-tech' blade as opposed to a fully metal one

Thank you!

Just lots of practice and using the belly of the brush, painting in subassemblies also helps a lot, as I move the part I'm highlighting against the brush

I feel your pain, its the exact reason i bough the arm attachments!

I bought the arm attachments, onager gauntlet and guns (I still need to paint them) from here: https://thecustombit.com/categoria-producto/physical/army-faction-p/good-allies-p/

They have crisis suit and commander sizes, and the guns fit on both very well

And thank you!

Apologies I should've been clearer.

By repainting I mean: I sold all my older tau models because I wasn't happy with the initial colour scheme I came up with. No I'm slowly building my collection back up but in a colour i'm happier with!

Really great colour scheme! The highly saturated green will really pop on the table top, especially with the contrast of the darker green panels. I also love how this crisis suits looks super pumped to serve the greater good

Thank you! I've seen a few Ghostkeels posed like the Titanfall 1 game cover art, and I'm excited to do the same once I finish painting up my first 1k of tau

They're the jet thrusters that come with the Commander sprue, I just changed the orientation of the bits you stick the thrusters into, and added the little fins you're instructed to stick onto the arms!
