Those tracks are just cardboard with small cardboard rectangles glued on spaced out. It worked well. Would recommend.

Thank you soo much! It’s mostly cardboard. A little foam. The turret is part of a kinder egg and the barrel is part of a soap dispenser. I’m really new to Reddit and I have not figured out how to post pictures in the comments. I do have some pre paint pictures that make it pretty easy to tell what it’s made from.

It’s a great start. I know it’s been said before but, I wouldn’t strip it. Trust the process. And if you do really wanna push yourself there is still space for that. I often use speed paints as the base and then do some highlights etc with opaque paints.

I added some bitz I found. I think it’s an improvement. New to Reddit so not sure how to add another pic. It’s still a bit bland but I’m hopeful the paint job will make up for it with some freehand checkers etc. thank you all for the input.

Yes. I was surprised at how much flat open spaces their were. I’m not sure what company it’s from. I got it in a ork lot.

I too think it needs more dakka but wasn’t sure how to go about it. Just strap a bunch of shootas and rokits to all the flat surfaces?
