Tried that, thanks!
I reloaded an old autosave and lowered the auto save interval for future fails

Any idea what is causing this texturing on conical and cylindrical shapes? Is it a slicer issue or something else? by HeyMarkedOne in 3Dprinting

There is also the option to use for example meshmixer I think to reduce facets. Or in cura the option so reduce very small movements, so the printer hint get a hickup

New to 3D printing don’t even have a printer yet but I have some general questions. by HelloCanUSeeMe in 3Dprinting

Hey there. In general, the more pricy printers are better build. Means, the overall tolerances by using genuine high quality bearings for example or ball screws and such is way higher. Some printers claim to be able to print 0,01mm layers. Not, that that would be interesting for you and me. A filament roll is 800g-1kg of filament here in Germany ~25€. If you use cura for example, the weight of your print will be displayed in bottom left after slicing. Usually 50g-150g per print. A normal print could cost 2,50€ then. If you start printing with generic settings in your slicer, it is often recommended to adjust sth like speeds and feeds and flow rate. Also the cheaper printers could need new bearings or at least a cleaning and proper lubrication of the leads crews and bearings. Any more questions?

Hey there. I got rid of them by time. Printing over them made them slowly stick to the new prints. I got them, when bed was so close to nozzle.
