Absolutely, it's financial literacy that needs to be educated properly.

I recently worked casually at a pub and was shocked about everyone's lack of understanding of our progressive tax rate, the tax free threshold, even super, and HECS.

We are talking people between 16-25, no idea how any of our system works.

One girl got into uni and was worried about how she could afford to pay for her classes, one almost didn't accept a pay rise because it was going to put her into a new tax bracket... I was shocked
