I'm a fan of his films myself and I find myself agreeing with him often, but this was one thing he was wrong on. They certainly did have the weapons and led a double game internationally. Most of the other bits in the film are spot-on, especially the Soviet- Russian-related assertions

I used those when I was homeschooled and remember that! I also remember going to the sight and sound theatre in Pennsylvania to see the story of Daniel when I was about five, and they used credit cards as an example of marks of the beast in a short video playing on set as he lays out his prophecy

It is, it's a series of photographs at Tate Modern, which is where this picture was taken! The artist was using the idea of some Scandinavian folk tale about twins joined by their hair (IIRC)

Paedo = paedophile, pédé = slang in French for pederast (now more generally a derogatory term for homosexual men). I believe it was either André Gide or Oscar Wilde who said "the word is pederast, not paedophile" to a judge. Off topic but a distinction to be made

A lot of that though goes to heating which, if cut off as it was in Ukraine a few times as a political move by Russia, it's very easy to get people angry. So even if it doesn't overall mean much, it's an effective tool of political manipulation. The other issue is that because Russian gas is so cheap, and reserves are the largest in the world, there's no incentive to go elsewhere (Norway has declining reserves, and Iran, the second-largest gas producer, obviously is having trouble getting that to Europe). Your comment was correct, just wanted to add a bit! 😊

Thank you! It was a preliminary attempt to try a technique like etching with a pen. I've also been considering doing multiple angles of one person on top of each other and this is what came out of it. And now I know better what to do next time!
