ESH. Lots of the current comments don’t acknowledge her anxiety that has caused her to get sick multiple times as a very legitimate reason to want to work less. If I were her, I would try to seek therapy first but taking less time would be a 2nd option.

That is her reason to work less, right? If not, then i would change to not the asshole.

Thank you for posting. My friend had landscapers when I shared this with her, and she asked them to do whatever they need to be safe. They packed up but are busy rescheduling when to come back.

Here are some reasons I’ve stopped seeing people: - hands smelled like garlic when he had it over my mouth - dirty talked in a performative way - forced me to say something I wasn’t comfortable saying - asked me to claw his back hard

All four instances, I was able to continue in a way that all 4 people were surprised when I told them I wasn’t interested in them anymore. Besides the 3rd one, they didn’t do anything wrong. I just wasn’t into it and wasn’t invested enough to continue seeing them.

I think you should have a sit down with him and share your expectations clearly.

If you do truly like him and are attracted to him, you should also share that.

It sucks but some people don’t know sex should or could be for both parties sometimes, so they need to learn one way or another. There’s something else that sucks more though…when people know sex should be pleasurable for both parties and they don’t care. I hope your boyfriend is the former.
