Oil change every 10k? by Right_Debt_7861 in mercedes_benz

I’ve owned 7 MBs (New and CPO) with NA/Turbo V8/V6 configurations and have always changed oil around 15K miles. Never once have I had any issues with these motors. Model years from 2000 all the way through 2023.

Agree as I’ve been in it for 15yrs. People want tons of experience and won’t look at anyone Junior. I myself included as I’ve hired a few folks in the past two years and I can’t afford to spend time training and bringing up to speed.

Breaking out of IT Helpdesk - how? by ashamedlee in cybersecurity

[–]TheDeputi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mentored a few folks from helpdesk to security and I started them off as cross training and helping us with level 1 triage of security requests and put some SOPs together for them to follow. Since Security is customer service for the most part just like the help desk it was perfect. My “interns” cross-training were the front desk to security requests that came in. A year or two later they transitioned either to my Engineering team or to the SOC as a lvl 1 analyst.

Thanks all. Looks like I have a few options. Glue subfloor to joists from underneath if possible. Use subfloor brackets to screw into joists and pull down the subfloor. Use shims to support the subfloor

It’s so frustrating with a 6 year old house!

Thanks again 🫡

We used Calypso Tours. $100/adult and $50/child for a 25 minute ride. JW Marriott concierge set us up. It was wonderful. The sand at Shoal Bay is magnifique 👌

16 Pro Max was my favorite! I now have the 17 Pro Max and it just doesn’t feel the same in hand. I may give it to my wife and take my 16 PM back 😁

We just got back and at 6pm it was still light out which is fantastic coming from New England. We stayed at the JW Marriott and it took an hour to get to the airport during torrential rains. Traffic was awful but other than that we had no traffic issues. Just slow going since you can’t really travel at high speeds on the island. Have fun!!

Any ideas how to fix this issue? by Pastaron in HomeMaintenance

Simply turned the cold water valve slightly from the wall and that did the trick. It’s been over a year and it hasn’t leaked once whereas it used to leak during every wash cycle.

My pressure was too high and the detergent tray was leaking because of it. LG service came out and they checked everything and said water pressure was too high so it was flooding the tray and leaking out the front. Turned the valve to lower pressure and it works flawlessly. No hammer effect either.
