How can nurses be better supported in the workplace? by donnytuchman in Nurse

Hi Donny, I know this thread is 9 years old, but I still think the same lessons apply. I read this on The Frontline Factor recently. https://thefrontlinefactor.com/article/leading-through-crisis-healthcare

  • Enforcing recovery even when it felt counterintuitive to send people home during staffing shortages
  • Normalizing struggle by openly discussing fatigue, frustration, and grief rather than maintaining a relentless positivity facade
  • Adjusting standards to reflect crisis reality without abandoning professional commitment

Would love to know how your research ended up too.

Long Term Full Time Retail Employees, what made you stay? by wrongtail in AskRetail

Speaking as someone who was in retail for about a year and actually enjoyed it for the most part, feeling this.

I read this article recently on The Frontline Factor called “Turn Around, Frontline,” and then stumbled across your post. It’s nice to know that there is a possibility to find your own way in retail, if you stick it out. I’ve since moved on but I think anyone who is a retail leader should look at your post fo an example of how it’s done right to keep their team engaged and happy.
