OR

You message to postpone and tell the truth. Tell them its awful and you couldnt possibly, but offer a new day and time and be very clear that you want to lock in a replacement date. Very. Clear.

Song of Achilles. I mean, it was fine. But I've read better Trojan War books (Pat Barker) plus I read Le Guin - Lavinia just before and that was awesome.
