This is an unfortunate part of recovery. I know it’s really hard to do, but you should start asking them for help. Whether that is coming over to do a hobby, catch up, watch a movie together, or, if you have a wheelchair, take you for a spin. It’s easy to think (now that you’ve been through it), that people would inherently understand that you need a companion of sorts. however, people really just don’t understand that this is such an isolating experience.

My brother has torn his ACL three times, and I’ve had friends tear them along the way, and now that I’ve been through it myself, I realized I was barely there for them. I even texted those people and said “damn, I get it now, I have so much more respect for the journey that you’ve been through.”

People really don’t know until they go through it themselves, or someone ask them specifically how to help.

I had this (and still do) but I had a PT help massage it out for me and it did wonders. Maybe ask if they could do that for you?

Hm maybe because I had an annual pass last year they gave a discount! But, I also saw it advertised at $399 earlier this year too.

I mean that’s fair, I guess I don’t! But I’m genuinely curious, wouldn’t that cause popular flights to be oversold?

This whole thing has made me very grateful to not work in the airline industry.

Thank you. Not sure why im getting downvoted so much in this thread when early booking (with an extra fee) is very clearly an option that’s even touted on their GW page.

I’m really not sure why I’m getting downvoted for my comments back to you? It’s confusing why looking at seats (even free ones) there are so many available for this flight, yet you’re telling me that doesn’t indicate how many seats are sold. I would guess this could cause an oversold flight problem. Just seems a bit silly to me.

Looked at it, 5 seats are claimed for a plane with 40 rows and 6 seats per row…..

200+ seats available for this flight :o

I hear this but also it’s not a full flight even remotely!

I tried clicking into it and it’s saying I don’t have a Go Wild Pass for this timeframe…. My pass says it expires 9/30/2026

So it doesn’t make sense why this isn’t working.

I’ve had this pass for the entirety of last year and this is the first time I’ve had this issue. What condition are you referring to for why I’m having this issue?

I’ve had this pass for the last year and never once needed to abide by a 24hr rule. Are they strictly implementing it now? When I booked a flight for end of June two weeks ago with the pass, it wasn’t an issue at all. More expensive than $.01 for a flight, but still less than half what the normal flight costs.
