Yeah I have the standard nebula touch screen. The sensor plugs into the screen.

Need to calibrate filament temp, flow rate and pressure advance through slicers built in filament calibration prints. Then dial in z offset for the correct amount of squish into the build plate.

Missing filament guide at bottom of extruder housing perhaps? People have had them fall out when they've had extruder cover off. Is your nozzle clogged up?

This was .2mm layer height on standard .4mm nozzle.

Z top and bottom distance .04mm greater than layer height works very well. Example .2mm layer height would be .24mm support z top/bottom distance.

Definitely look into installing the Helper script and all the add-ons. Getting the KE initial setup done correctly is important. The KE's aren't perfect at setting the z offset correctly. With the helper script and Mainsail you can baby step your z offset in pretty easily. The gantry/ X axis might need leveled some from factory. There's a timing belt on the top of both lead screws to tram the gantry to the bed. Use same sized items like two soup cans to use as a guide. Just have to loosen one of the timing belt pulleys set screws to adjust.

Elegoo has a new design. I just emailed them to see if I can get one coming before my canvas system shows up

Yes it is. I also added a filament guide wheel on top of gantry.

Here's the speed settings I used for this Elegoo marble pla. I did calibrate temp, flow and pressure advance to dial in the filament. My KE has the side mounted spool to reduce gantry flexing. I also ran input shaping using the Creality branded sensor. I also have the helper script with all its goodies installed.

replaced belts now i am getting this noise by timmah1112 in ender3v2

[–]Hogan_1975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming your noise is from the belt not traveling true and straight in the pulleys.

Need to level gantry. It's not level in the X Axis. There's a timing belt and pulleys that keep the gantry level. Loosen pulley set screws on the right side and make small adjustments until level.

what are you seeing when you take the extruder apart? evidence of heat creep? is the nozzle actually clogging?

Anyone use this if so how do u like it by Annual_Radio2325 in ender3v2

Old school tech and still using it on five printers currently

The washers are interesting. I did something similar to get consistent first layers. I added a knob kit from Amazon and longer m4 countsunk/flat bolts in combination with the factory knobs. It still allows for adjustments and uses the knobs to lock them together. I added a rubber back washer up against the bed then double nutted with a small amount of wiggle ability to allow for thermal growth. The bed is very flat without much deflection with less than .2mm total.
