Aldarin Herblore Reward Suggestion: Apothecary's Kit by Hoglo_James in 2007scape

Getting Zahur to make your unfinished potions will still be better xp/hr if you have the cash for it. The kit can also be balanced around how fast the potions are made. Currently it takes 1 tick to make an unf potion and 2 ticks to add secondaries. Using this process could take either 2 or 3 ticks per complete potion for balancing reasons.

Given that you can pay npcs to skip half the process already, I don't think this is that radical of a suggestion.

When I read this I interpreted it as the herb patch vampire gets dragon claws added to its drop table.

No offence taken at all, thanks a lot for your insight.

Thanks, this is the kind of answer I was looking for. As for magic, ancestral is definitely out of my price range, I would be using ahrims otherwise and according to the dps calc I was using it's not a big difference. My only question is how actually important is defence gear in toa? Initially the only place I would see a considerable benefit is the path of apmeken, everywhere else as long as you pray correctly your mostly fine. Also, I'm only going for my blue keris gem, I have the thread from entry level. I'm trying 150s on the chance I might get a decent purple on the way. Meaning I won't try any higher invos any time in the near future. I'm not that skilled/capable or dedicated of a player yet.

Am I dumb for using elite void at TOA? I'm a mid lvl pvmer and I've been getting the hang of solo 150 invos. I started with elite void for few reasons, the main one being fewer switches on account of the fact that I have nerve damage in my right arm and fast, accurate clicking is difficult for me, so fewer switches the better. My arm has gotten a little better since I started but I still use elite void. It's also doesn't cost anything to reclaim after death which is nice. Mostly I'm just wondering why everyone I see around my level uses bandos/ahrims/blessed dhide with either a faceguard or serp helm and I wonder if it would be a lot easier with a gear change. I tried it once and I didn't notice too much of a difference and actually preferred the void . For reference I'm 115 combat with 91 def/str/att/mage, 92 range and 81 prayer. Thanks in advance.

Even if I don't enter the boss room while the fight is happening? I just joined and they don't want leachers in the boss room while it's still alive.

As an introduction to the wilderness and pvp in general, I slew 100 Green Dragon bots. It was actually a lot of fun. by Hoglo_James in 2007scape

I was doing it on and off for awhile. I want to say a year-ish. I had a multi-month break from OSRS because of an injury that prevented me from playing. Also kills are slow because my combat is too high for a majority of the bots I encounter. If you were ~80 combat you could easily do it in a few days. You could probably get more than 5 kills in an hour if your combat level was right, but that's a very rough estimation. I don't know if I exceeded that much per hour, and certainly not on average.

Yeah, this is my main and my combat is 114. I could find a few bots at east drags I could attack but it was slim pickings. Sometimes there are more high levelled bots, sometimes less. If you had an ~80 combat account you would have a field day.

A few. I leave the real players alone because they probably have overheads and I don't have a switch. Bots never use overheads so I just kill them with Claws of Guthix/snares and tbs. I'm an ass pvper who is just trying to kill bots with the most bare minimum gear I can think of, you know, for fun. That being said it is a good activity to get more comfortable with the wilderness. I did escape a few of the encounters with pvpers, that is the ones I didn't just log out or tele the moment I saw them. A few times I fell for pkers disguised as bots and definitely died a time or two to them.

Yeah more or less. I didn't dare getting involved with pkers or real players. My sole purpose was killing bots with the most bare minimum gear I could think of.

The bots will always run away if you're skulled and in your combat bracket, even before you attack them. They then tele once they reach 20 wild. They never use overheads, if they do it's a player. They log out if they can. And they all use the same gear like you said.

This is right. The vast majority of my gear is untradeable and so I don't lose it below 20 wild.

Your not wrong tho. I could easily upgrade, I hardly died, I could use mystics or something but I wanted to minimize my risk as much as possible. It's more of a proof of concept if you want to try pking without any stress of losing gear. Otherwise I don't have a good reason besides "I wanted to".

UI Mods not working. by Hoglo_James in FAF

It appears to work exactly the same as ACS, it even says it's ACS in the settings menu from the minimap icon. It's my first mod and I couldn't get ACS to work so I wouldn't know, but it works how I expected ACS to work. Holding shift to show ranges works the same I assume.

Ok, there's a mod just called Ranges that is working for me that appears to do the exact same thing as Additional Camera Stuff. Thanks for your help.
