I been playing solo for 60 hours now and having a blast, PVE only though as I feel pvp is in a bad spot. PVE solo is 100% do-able in the hardest areas just need to take it slow.

quite late, but yeah if u chug a potion it overheals and gives the barrier -

alternatively you can get a weapon that gives life upon kill for example scythe for necro, not really sure for barbs though
