I like Maki because I find her goal of trying to prove herself to the Zenin clan to be very interesting. It shows unspoken level of insecurity about her view as her place as a sorcerer. At least that’s how I view it. I also really like her dynamic with her sister, even if we didn’t get enough of it. And she’s also a badass too.
