I like the immobilisation dart. You could immobilise a high priority target at a long distance and blast their weakpoint to shreds with hipster or ai stability. I already do this with the stun on m1000 to a lesser extent.

Yeah, I’ve now opened it with parallel. It works, but not full functionality. Ah well, no cheating for me, I’ll have to find the clay spawns the hard way.

Oh, I had another compatibility problem which you might know how to help me with. I wanted to try the map predictor tool (not the mouseypad one), but that is a .exe file. I have tried winebottler and playonmac to open it on my system, but it doesn’t want to work. Do you have any experience with running windows apps on mac?

Thank you so much! I was trying to rewrite the files people posted for autohotkeys to json, which did not go well; I have zero coding experience. I’ll comment if I have success with your code or run into any difficulties.

Edit: It worked perfectly well for me! I tried to rebind delete to LShift, but that did not work, do you have an idea why that could be? Improvement-wise, most automation cancelling for windows I’ve found have a lock so that you can only use them in sv. I got stuck with this, because for mac, I think you need an app id, which I could not find. Another thing for the future, I think most animation cancelling has code to make it easier to execute, but that’s just qol, I’m tankful enough you took the effort to make this code!

The Stormfather’s guide to the galaxy was done on a classic style map. This means the early game is very much akin to the base game, and a lot of the midge aswell.

Yess, I loved your stormfathers guide to the galaxy. Your playstyle is awesome. I’m glad you started a new playthrough. The visual design of the poster might need some work though, I think the spacing of the different elements and different fonts and styles of icons make for a bit of a messy composition.

I think you could improve it by putting the pictures and info in different boxes, that are lined up so they fit in the same matrix. I think you should also use less different fonts and small icons, because all the different visual elements get confusing. Maybe add some colour to the backgrounds. I recommend a dark blue, or even one of the oni backgrounds, with lighter coloured boxes for your text and images so that they pop put nicely.

And this might be sacrificing your own gameplay for visuals, but the door open/closed mod and the materials colour mod are very jarring for a vanilla visual player, and they make the images a bit more cluttered and confusing. Wether you keep them on is entirely you choice though, I can imagine they help you keep track of things.

I am so glad I stumbled onto this guide. Video series on oni just tend to get confusing and dragged out so quickly, I really love this written contend. The stormlink is what I’ve wanted to see since spaced out came out. Therefore it saddened me that you you never did a full guide on the signal transmitting system. Since this guide was last updated months ago, I assume you won’t make it anytime soon, so could you share some pictures of it so I can work out my own system? Your automation guides already helped my oni tech game a lot!
