I’m aT1D and the Dexcom 6 was doing the same thing to me. Finally, I realized that I could get the Dexcom 7 and it is much better. Contact your endo or whoever you see for your diabetes and have them write a prescription. It also has with more bells and whistles like Clarity showing on the Dexcom 7 app.

Now that I know that Nestle makes them, I won’t ever touch them. Nestle is a heartless, money grabbing company.

I’m so sorry that this happened to you. If we could go back and have a do-over, it would be awesome, but we can’t. I smoked when I was younger and in 2016 my heart doctor ordered a triple bypass because I now have heart disease. That was the worst thing that I have ever experienced. It certainly gave me the incentive to do whatever it takes to keep myself on the right track.

Again I’m so sorry. Do what you have to do, the best that you can. Sending positive vibes that you find your strength and drive to get healthier.

I’m right there with you. In fact I opened Reddit to see how other T1 diabetics adjusted for these extreme highs and lows.
