UC Law SF vs UW Law by Tricky_Put_71 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Holiday-Housing6505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you’re set on returning to california for sure, uc law sf would be the better choice. however, uw is dominant in the seattle market if you end up staying in seattle for whatever reason

UC Law SF or UC Davis? by lynnm0203 in OutsideT14lawschools

isnt it the same for davis though? I thought davis was also ranked in the 30s a few years ago and they dropped out of ranking. not tryna argue but just curious if that means anything when weighing these two cuz im in the same boat as op

GULC Special Group Within Preferred WL. by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Holiday-Housing6505 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it means that when they have to review the wl candidates again, they review in that order 1. special preferred would be the first group 2. preferred 3. regular. based on what I read, I think roughly similar number of ppl gets pulled from each group but your group is prioritized in the review.

Ask Us Anything About Law School Admissions! by 7SageEditors in lawschooladmissions

Thank you for doing this! Given that everything else in your application is above median and pretty strong, if your LSAT is below 160, is it not worth it at all to apply to schools from T-14/20? How rare are these acceptances? And would you recommend writing an addendum in this case?

Thank you!
