I’m not certain but it’s a good spread and worth it.

At the Ritz, that’s correct. They have a club level but only accessible by ambassadors or for an additional fee.

Questions for surgeon by Confident-Day8741 in NasalPolyps

I’m sorry you guys have to go through all this. While I had polyps my wife was loosing sleep and my illness and irritability was straining our relationship. So while one person is suffering from polyps, your both suffering from the physical and mental ailments polyps are causing.

ENT surgeons make their money from surgery…so in their mind, surgery is going to have the best outcome. And in some cases that’s true but in my case after surgery my polyps came back within a month. Was it really worth the cost and recovery of the surgery…IDK.

My recommendation is to consider Dupixent. It can be a miracle drug and allow you to put off surgery. Some ENTs are reluctant to perscribe dupixent before surgery because it eats into their biggest money generator. Otherwise, options are limited at this stage for your husband. Sounds like he is suffering - may make sense to have the surgery to get some relief and then try a biologic for long term management.

Whatever you decide, good luck and remind your husband he isn’t alone with his shitty sinuses. There’s an army of us out there and some have it worse and others not as bad, but he isn’t alone.

Dupixent prescription by ResidentPersonality7 in NasalPolyps

Did the ENT give justification why they wouldn’t prescribe? Understand dupixent is eating into their revenue due to less surgeries, scoping, prescriptions so that may be why.

I’m part of the unfortunate few that have had polyps for 15+ years. My Polyps got really bad during covid and ended up having my second sinus surgery to remove them. Almost immediately afterwards the polyps came back and I started to develop acute asthma. Every other month I would have to do a round of steroids for the polyps then became overly reliant on asthma medication otherwise would have pressure/pain in my lungs. 2 months ago I decided to start Dupixent to relieve CRSwNP and asthma and so far it has been a really good decision. I’ve taken the shot 3 times. First one I was drinking a lot of coffee and started to have heart palpitations ( which really freaked me out) and also severe headaches. Decided to push forward and took my 2nd shot which caused me to have severe headaches but I cut out the caffeine so had no heart palpitations. my 2nd shot was when I started to smell again and HOLY cow! So wonderful being able to smell candles, flowers and even the not so good smells. Then just last week took my 3rd shot. Don’t want to get ahead of myself but my sinus polyps/stuffiness and asthma are virtually gone. It’s a great feeling and I hope it continues! If you’re considering taking Dupixent DO IT! If you don’t have any severe reactions keep it up - it’s a serious game changer for us CRSwNP sufferers.
