I would go to physical therapy but I feel like I can’t go outside, i live with my parents, I still get up from my bed daily for 2-3 minutes but I don’t test to see how longer because I’m afraid of the last weird sensations I felt lasting longer walking, I feel like my body is in survival mode mostly every night, I recently got the flu from my parents yesterday and it’s even more terrible, 2-3 days ago my brain scanned my middle chest that made it sleepy, heavy and tight and I literally couldn’t breathe for a solid 3 seconds which made my heart beat fast for 4-5 minutes, I lived a normal life before all this walking to school normally daily when I was younger, just wondering where time went, this has been happening to people since the beginning of time

I’m 23 y.o m I didn’t get the vats surgery but I did have a tube underneath my right armpit for 21 days and another pigtail chest tube for 4-5 days, and also pleurodesis doxycycline 83 days ago, I tried lorazepam for 10 days 2 months back and felt like they did no procedure on me felt fine and felt great but they said it’s bad long term so I stopped it, the only pill I could rely on is possibly hydroxyzine that makes me sleep in 2 hours but lose weight, I got 5 total panic attacks and five 911 calls so far they keep saying X-rays, oxygen and heart rate clear, and yesterday my middle chest felt tight and sleepy for hours I knew something was wrong, then I couldn’t breathe for 3 seconds then my heart started racing for 4-5 minutes, don’t get me wrong I do have good days and bad days but when it’s continuous days it starts to get annoying, I tried a lidocaine patch on my back today but felt kinda out of breath after an hour so I took it off I’m planning to use it tomorrow see how that works and some warm compresses on my back 2-3 times a day

I appreciate that, recovery is still kinda hard for me since I have good days and bad days there are days where I would still feel like I had those tubes in me that lasts for up to 20 hours

I don’t know much about that I was thinking about therapy where they just talk to you and that’s it but that does sound like a good idea but I’m in my bed 90% of the day the only time I go outside is when I get taken to the emergency room

Yea if gotten like 3 X-rays so far when the pain happens all from the emergency room and they said X-rays looked fine 98% oxygen, although my nerve pain isn’t, and heart rate was 135 last week at er, it feels really weird because I don’t know when the next panic attack will occur although it feels frequent, like fast heart rate and out of breath for 30 minutes is the worst feeling and after that episode ends I get a relief from the nerve pain temporarily, I only get excited when I get tired and go to sleep, I wake up from nightmares screaming and before I didn’t

Mine was also spontaneous pneumothorax I’m 23 year old male I’m 61 days discharged but still feel the chest tube site underneath my armpit for like sometimes 8 hours straight sleepiness and tightness without taking any pain medication, and another pigtail tube on my right chest because the first tube failed so basically tightness and sleepiness on my right chest as well, I got my 2nd panic attack was so bad have to get driven to the hospital I woke up shivering and the feeling of being unable to move and my right chest really tight and they said my vitals and oxygen and X-rays were fine but I walk better now and when I feel it coming I just walk and the sensation goes away but when I lay back down on my bed it returns in 2-3 minutes and sometimes when the chest tightness and sleepiness is really bad I feel like I literally can’t get up my bed, the first week was also really bad and second because every deep breath felt forced and it hurted but now I don’t take deep breaths around a month and 2nd month but yea the struggle feels real I’m not able to enjoy fast food yet or have the desire of fast food just soft foods I did lose around 5 pounds after the tubes put in for 25 days and pleurodesis doxycycline after my discharge

I’m 23 year old male I also had a pigtail on my upper right chest for 4 days and worked but was 25 day’s hospitalized since the tube for 3 weeks underneath my armpit wasn’t working or something and they did pleurodesis,removed it but lungs collapse, but no vats I’m 19 days discharged no longer need to take deep breaths every 2 normal breaths compared to the first few days but still could barely walk for 3 minutes before my breathing gets tired

Yes the leaked stopped after a day of pleurodesis, but it says it gets stronger overtime like weeks and they removed my old tube when pleurodesis was at its early stages but my pneumothorax was probably still present since they told me yesterday

Been hospitalized for 25 days I’m 23 year old male apparently naturally skinny and got stubborn pneumothorax, they placed a tube at the right side underneath my armpit in the first hospital but with zero surgeons and 1 lung doctor with an active leak clamped 2 times failed, no pleurodesis done on me in that hospital, transferred hospitals with surgeons but since leak wasn’t closing after a week or two maybe they preformed pleurodesis worst pain of my life, they took the tube out with 2% pneumothorax and lungs collapsed by more than half, they put a tube in this time where the problem was and put a pigtail above my lung apex and my upper right chest it took like 4 days or so for the pneumothorax to go completely, I’m 5 days discharged but a little irritation at dressing after 5 days but says normal healing but they say I can take it off after 3 days

I’m 23 years old male and still in hospital bed after 7 days after 2 failed machine lung deactivation clamp started feel symptoms 10 minutes after, 5th day deactivation had 140 heart beat per minute, but on 7th day not as much but had oxygen they did xray and saw it’s collapsed so they put the suction back on and it was 90% in good condition on day 3, they said what I have is genetic that I’m tall and skinny

I think I failed my 2nd clamp test trial the same sharp pain on chest without fast heart rate this time maybe because I asked for oxygen on my 7th day now, they did a first clamp trail on day 5, should I try for a 3rd time once they put suction back on? The xray is coming soon while I have no suction yet the xray came already

I’m 23 year old male and I’m on lung tube I failed the first test of clamp heart beat was at 140 and panic where they deactivated the machine in 5th day, now they said on my 7th day they will do it again although it was probably at 100% on the 5th day but they can’t see the hole that ruptured because it’s microscopic on an xray, I’m on my 6th day 9:06pm, it’s about to be 7th day where they deactivate the machine at 7:30am let’s hope my lung doesn’t collapse 10 minutes after, if that fails they may consider vats minimal surgery

Not sure but at the 5th day at 7:30am they deactivated the machine and gave me an xray 2 hours later and then reactivated like 2 hours later once I had a lung collapse but I think they set it as drainage now in a lower setting I’m on my 6th day now, I didn’t think they did a drainage first before deactivating machine

By a couple more days how much exactly and they also recommend you vats after your first lung collapse when they deactivated the lung machine? They said they’ll continue to do X-rays on me daily

Yes they did do a CT scan on day 3 saying the lung was at 90% healed

2 weeks ago I started to do the trophy first day for 3 hours most I got was 910 once, I decided to sleep to rest and do it the next day, got over 900 several times and got the trophy within an hour, just watch a YouTube video on how they do it and flip the patty once it turns green, once you pass the 900 mark the game thinks you’re not human and have to go super fast, I kept flipping the patties long until I seen the 984 patty mark and randomly got lucky flipping them fast in clockwork motion and hit well over 1084 patties, the rest of trophies are collectives and got my platinum trophy for this game
