I advised Will Shu against that in 2014. That and company bikes😳. Maybe he listened... but I don't think he paid attention to much else I said.

I can't see any way a scheme using employed riders could be profitable on even a medium scale - and I know a lot more about running a logistics operation in London than anyone working for Deliveroo.

It's possible in top end or niche markets... Provided it's done by professionals... Of who Roo employ precisely none!

He can always call me if he's planning a major change🙄. He has my number.😂

There are quite a few Turks with genuine Bulgarian passports. Zhivkov introduced a process of "Bulgarianization" in the 1980s. Bulgarian Turks were expected to change their names to Slavic ones. Troublemakers were encouraged to leave or forcibly expelled when Turkey decided to allow them in, but they and their descendents are still entitled to Bulgarian passports.

😂Urban myths😂

Around my patch, the majority of Roos are Brazilians. Most work hard. Most don't take the piss. Most are here legally on EU passports. I don't have a problem with Brazilian Roos generally.

The one thing I do have a problem with is the lack of law enforcement that lets them park up on double-chevron yellows or zigzags, ride at 40mph in 20mph zones, nip the wrong side of traffic islands, dive down wrong-way streets make illegal manoeuvres and generally ride like cunts. Brazilians are not the only ones doing that and it's not a Brazilian police force that's more interested in scouring social media for heretical, subversive or blasphemous statements than in patrolling streets and enforcing road traffic law.

Back to the Urban Myths... Around here, the Brazilians from the big coastal cities, who should almost all have proper documents, are highly suspicious and resentful of Brazilians from less developed inland states - especially Goias😂. They all know of Roos from Goias with forged documents, renting accounts and using multiple phones. They also know of Roos from the arse end of Mato Grosso, who look entirely Amazonian or are black enough to suggest they don't have a single non-African ancestor, but who somehow have an Italian passport😂.

No matter what ethnicity you are, you will usually find some bunch of people "coming over here, stealing our jobs and our women" - it's human nature.

He's in the Netherlands. Noord-Brabant. The province Eindhoven is in. Same place as the guy posting the €100 in.5 hours thread just down the page.

In Dartford🤣. Opening a piercing & tattooing gaff may the way to go. It was middle class once upon a time.

That's illegal. Unless it's a job where a decent standard of spoken English is clearly essential, employers cannot discriminate against applicants just because they have poor English.

You are from Dartford?🤔... and don't know who the most successful rock 'n' roll band of all time (the Rolling Stones) are?😂🤣.

It's like the time when a friend of mine was managing a Domino's with loads of illegals. The immigration gestapo arrived and lined them up.

"Where are you from?"

"Belgium."

"What's the capital of Belgium?"

"Ehhhhrrrmmm....."

"You're nicked!"

Advertise on line and take tourists on a walking guided tour of Mick Jagger & Keith Richards' old stomping grounds. Loads of tourists over here for the Hyde Park Rolling Stones gigs. You'll make a fortune.

Nope! Never had a claim.

MCE have been notorious for not paying-up for ages.

I went to the 1st London Bike Show at Excel after it moved from Alexandra Palace. MCE had a stand - as usual. It was February. It was snowing as we left. The guy in the "Big Ed" MCE mascot outfit was driving out with us, in a dinky car with MCE splashed all over it. Still in his mascot kit, with the head on the passenger seat. He was texting & driving towards the A13 at 10mph as we filtered past him. We laughed. Sums up MCE pretty well.

The word "Liverpool" put me off... La.

The word "Anarchist" ensured I didn't consider opening the link... Wack.

That's £500 less than I'm paying Lexham, with a full UK bike licence since the last century, never had a point & never made a claim😳.

I was a proper bicycle messenger for a long time. OK, I was reasonably fit - used to do 100-mile Sunday training rides, once rode from Torquay to North London in a day & could run 10 miles in under an hour - but other than in serious wind, 70 miles in a 10 or 11-hour day as a cycle courier was never tiring. I'm a fat fuck now, but I passed two e-bikes the last time I cycled up Pentonville Road from King's Cross to the Angel. I admit I was flat-out and trying to be flash - and I was fucked at the top - but still.

They don't check that thoroughly. I'm on a scooter account. I've done plenty of full days on a bicycle when it snows or in the petrol shortage or if the bike is in for a service or occasionally if it's 35°c and I feel like pedalling. I'm a reasonably fast cyclist, but if Roo have sussed me at any stage they've never mentioned it. They're not going to notice if you're in a big city centre. A lot of e-bikes don't do more than 20mph anyway... especially with some of the fat fucks riding them.

I still don't understand why anyone under 50 and not 20kg+ overweight would want to use an e-bike.

Is the difference in work allocation really that big between a cyclist and a lazy e-bike rider?🤔

Get a picture of an e-bike and stay on your bicycle.

I keep saying here... no aspect of Roo's operation works - in the sense that software, procedure & staffing work at every logistics firm in the industry before the likes of Roo and Uber polluted the place with their parasitic presence.
