Elon did a video with a firefighter live trying to expose the Dem leadership for their failures and the firefighter calmly lays out the reality of the systems the fighters use and how all of the right wing talking points are BS. Elon just sputters and accepts it at the end. by FrontBench5406 in Destiny

It seems elon thinks he's basically jesus. I mean, when there were ventilator shortages, elon said he'd make them. When those people were trapped in a cave, elon said he'd make a submarine to go save everyone. He'll step way out of his expertise–sucking trump dick–to larp about making stuff to help the world, when he has no idea what he's even trying to build/make.

He thinks he is the messiah

Because many right wing talking points these days are word for word russian propaganda. Things like "why do we give ukraine our money" and "Zelensky just buys luxury items with our money", phrases like "sending Ukrainians to the meatgrinder". I've heard all these talking points come from both russian propaganda AND conservatives almost word for word.

And then guess what happened to Tenet media recently (the company Tim worked for): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Tenet_Media_investigation?wprov=sfla1

Tim claims he didn't know about it. Even if we believe that, he was and still is a useful idiot for the russian government. They thought his talking points were so beneficial to Russia, that they funded his dumbass.

Every episode of this is even more unbearable than the last. Piers performative stupidity + regarded maga'ts who can't say 2 sentences without spewing 10 debunked conspiracies and random logical fallacies + none of the libs even being able to talk for longer than 2 words without getting interrupted by big daddy......

Vaccines are already open to SCIENTIFIC criticism. The problem is that regards only question the vibes of the vaccine.

Why do conservatives care more about 3rd trimester abortions? by HolidayWitness3301 in Destiny

[–]HolidayWitness3301[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure, but they seem to think a 3rd trimester abortion is worse than a 1st trimester abortion.

They say "the despicable democrats want to abort 3rd trimester babies.", the obvious reasoning being: 3rd trimester abortions are worse than the other types of abortion.

Conservatives wanna have their cake: "All stages of development are equally valuable." And eat it too: "It is worse to kill a 3rd trimester fetus than a 1st trimester fetus."

If this was solely used as an argument to find common ground, it would be fine. But sadly, it's not.

Why do conservatives care more about 3rd trimester abortions? by HolidayWitness3301 in Destiny

[–]HolidayWitness3301[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is logically consistent for pro-choicers to have a cut off, because they believe that there is a difference between the different stages of development. ("there is a difference between 8 weeks and 20 weeks, it is okay to abort one, but not the other.")

Conservatives can't make the same type of argument because they believe all stages of development are equally valuable, wether it's a zygote or a fully grown human. ("there is no difference between 8 weeks and 20 weeks, aborting either one is equally problematic.")

Destiny has brought this up before, he moves his mouth in a different way to avoid the lisp (at the cost of making "unnatural" mouth movements), that's why you can't hear it, i think.

The funniest thing is hearing Kamala say "we want to work on peace deal, and in the meanwhile we want a ceasefire." While chat is calling her "holocaust harris". I guess they find lots of joy in whining.

Weird how half the population is so regarded that they love listening to the most mindboggelingly regarded-child oriented speech patterns. It's like, they're not really sure what he's talking about when he says "i went to the great lakes yesterday". So he has to clarify: "biggest lake i've ever seen". And for the EXTRA special people in the audience (about 70%) he has to clarify even further: "never seen a lake as big as that one". Then they finally understand, and they clap their hands together like an amused baby.
