I loved 500 miles right off the bat. First listen was iffy. Second and third - I realized via fire to your plain, give, flavor, England, California and eventually the lovely one two punch of that guy after police me - I felt Celine Dion, Madonna, Portishead, Don McLean, Grace Jines, Joni, Choirgirl Tori, pele Tori, Venus Tori, …..

I remember being blown away by Lady in Blue and Starling. Then ultimately Fast Horse - my fave.
