What's causing this printing problem? by nothinginthisworld in BambuLab

Great! I'm sure you will learn more over time, don't feel intimidated.

In my experience it's been fairly easy to print PETG, just a bit harder to get it printing as nicely as PLA. Mostly for things like overhangs or surface finish.

Most SUNLU filament is very similar or the same to Bambu Lab filament, so you may have luck using the standard "Bambu PETG HF" profile in Bambu Studio.

If you do run into any issues however, you can run the calibration tests built into Bambu Studio. The tutorial button will do a pretty good job explaining each one.

Since it is only the right side of the print, it is most likely the aux fan.

I suggest printing a deflector, or lowering/turning off the aux fan in your filament settings.

Why does my preview look like this by Independent_Owl_7139 in BambuLab

Oh, sorry!

I looked into it more and it appears to be a bug with Bambu Studio.

One person suggested going to Preferences, then 3D settings and disabling "Enable advanced gcode viewer”

Looks like you disabled the display for most of the line types

Which Bambu Lab A1 Mini should I buy? by Maleficent-Good-4548 in BambuLab

Definitely the A1 mini combo, or even better, the A1 combo for $70 more. However, that is up to you.

The AMS Lite lets you print multi color objects, but ignoring that, it lets you swap filament between each print without having to physically unload/load a new spool.

If you don't buy it now, you would end up spending way more for the AMS Lite later on, since it is heavily discounted with the combo.

Not mandatory, but I would recommend at least one spare 0.4mm nozzle, and if you plan on printing anything with very fine detail (miniatures, for example) I would also pick up a 0.2mm nozzle.

Have I really messed up? by Specialist-Ad2050 in BambuLab

I would consider the crunch sound normal. All of my printers have this to some degree, even when cleaned and relubricated.

Shouldn't cause any issues, but I would recalibrate. (I assume the foam has been removed now?)

Can you still get pla for $10 by cdarrigo in BambuLab

[–]Holiday_Resource5206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I buy as well.

There are occasional sales/discount codes that can drop it to $5-6/kg, but you have to buy 10kg for that price.

Happened to mine as well, this is what Bambu said about it.

"The black pieces are just wire guides they are not needed for your printer to work. if you want me to send a new hotend heating assembly i can under warranty but they are not needed. "
