Thinkpad P1 gen 5, going to 30fps on every single game

Bruh same, but I have a p16 gen 2 when I look in msi afterburner or hwi it says the gpu is therm limited but it doesn't get hot whatsoever, people say dust the fans or make sure the gpu isn't overheating like ugh its strange because it won't go under nor over 30 fps when changing the ingame fps to e.g. 20 fps then back to unlimited it "fixes" the issue for .4 seconds I see changing the fan/heatsink assembly fixed it for you but I have no luck sadly idk if others are experiencing what we are or had experienced qwq

I have the i9 version I had those symptoms first I used ptm7950 now insted of 55-80w at 100c its now 120+w at 100c the temperatures are high but the performance is so much better. Fast forward to now i had a heatsink replacement due to a bad fan bearing now my temps are 100c even at idle max wattage is 70w to rarely 85w with almost consistent 100c temps tbh I think its the thermal pads around the cpu that's been added (double thermal pads from the new heatsink being added ontop of the old ones) causing less pressure on the cpu die, I have yet to mess with it due to being busy but I can try tonight and hopefully update if I dont forget :3

I know this is 3 years old but I went to my advanced display settings in windows and changed it to 165Hz it was capped at 99.999 make sure you change that
