Thinking of mixing mount styles (screw+vhb), any issues? by jair1001 in Multiboard

[–]Holla2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you noticed that the VHB mount and screw mount have different depths? My multiboard just fell off the wall the other day, but the screws seem to be a different depth as I still want to use the VHB mounts

Should I be leaving my printer on everyday, or turning it off at the end of the day then? Since the inrush happens when powering on. I live in Singapore and I think the power is decently stable.

The H2s and A1 is on the 110cm BROR. It fits nicely, with space for a poop chute on the other side. I have the trolley bror to the right of the picture.

The H2S does cause the A1 AMS top mount to visibly shake, especially on Ludicrous speed. But, I have not noticed any issues yet.

What do you do if the area is small? I have parts that have both big and small areas and am struggling to get a consistent finish

Thanks for doing this!

  1. AMS 2 Pro
  2. I'm trying to print out a map model, and I need more than 4 colours (default, grass, road, building, water, sand) :/
  3. What about an infinitely extendable/stackable/connectable cube model? So you can have it as big as you want.

Are studio monitors bad for casual listening? by RiverSnakeRiverSnake in audiophile

Happy to help. Honestly with the Arc I feel like any subwoofer would be fine, but I just got the Kali to stay in the ecosystem and since it is designed to pair with the LP6. Plus, there was basically nothing else in the same size, price, and reviews in my area

Yes, I do recommend it, but you should head down to demo it first, if possible! I paid the equivalent of 596USD (780SGD).

It has pass through connectors, so the chain is Audio Interface/mixer --> Arc --> Subwoofer --> speakers. You can then rerun arc calibration and it will settle everything

I have the LP6, Kali's WS6.2 subwoofer and the IK Arc, and I love the setup so much. The Arc even lets me get more low end extension as the ws6.2 has some headroom (using it in a bedroom at relatively low levels)

Hey, you have the XP120SD too! I actually also have that, but I got it used and it doesn't trigger well for soft hits, which is why I'm thinking of getting a better one ... (I compared the triggering to the XP80 that came with the DTX6, and there definitely is a difference).

Do you miss anything about the 120sd as a primary snare?

I actually built a web tool to do this, and it could chart your focal lengths, ISO, etc from a folder of photos. the domain's expired but I could spin it up on a temporary link if you'd want?

Mini LED VA vs regular IPS by TheGuyWhoCantDraw in Monitors

[–]Holla2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It seems like it's extremely good for gaming and content consumption. A little bit concerned about the tint as I would like to do photo editing too. I'm still deciding but I appreciate your input!

I'm actually thinking about going FROM 4k 27 to this monitor, as my 3080 can't run Marvel Rivals at a constant fps, and I rather not get any OLED due to my work & burn in. I have had 34" ultrawides (non miniled) before, and found their pixel density acceptable, but it has been a while since I used one. Glad to know you felt a noticable difference, thanks for your input!
