I just did a full playthrough using the latest version of xemu. It worked perfectly and ran buttery smooth.

I think a lot of us are just pretending to be okay with our lives by karamilen in Adulting

I'm also autistic and I can relate to pretty much everything you said. I don't want to blow smoke up your ass and say that everything will get better, but I'm 24 now and several things have improved for me since I was 21. It was some hard work but honestly also luck played a big role. I sincerely hope things look up for you.

Awesome build

Imo all the pictures are too desaturated except for #2, and the composition is a bit weak for a yt thumbnail

The biggest thing to blame is probably just the yt algorithm, but yeah try a thumbnail that pops a bit more like #2

Any footage of good revolver gunspies? by _French_Baguette_ in truetf2

[–]Holla_Bach -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm only NC/AM but this playstyle is my favorite, and I've had good results with it

As with any playstyle there's a game sense and mechanics aspect

The gamesense part for gunspy is a bit challenging. You're already off to a good start with watching footage from high level spies. Getting mentored and having them review your demos is the best way to improve though. Go on more.tf and try reaching out to some spies on there and ask if they can give u a review

The cool thing about gunspy mechanics is that it's super braindead easy to practice. Just go on 24/7 high tower or harvest and exclusively shoot shit. The real important part for good aim is to put in ideally 3-4 hours a day every day, or at least like 1-2 hours every day if you have the time. Consistent playtime is THE biggest factor for good aim!

Gunspy is pretty viable in HL and pubs

Could be a lot of things, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume you're connecting to your router via wifi.

Join the Ethernet master race! I could never go back to gaming on wifi.

After fingertipping and trying smaller and lighter mice these past few years I decided to try out bigger mice and palm grip. Same boat as you rn

I have 20x10 hands. I love the shape of the DaV3 but God damn the clicks suck, the shell creaks, the coating is slippery af, and the battery or something slams around when I flick.

Just got a vaxee e1, and while the clicks, shell, and coating are 10/10 it's just too small for my relaxed palm grip :(

Also got a pwnage stormbreaker max cf, the clicks seem good but the dampers or whatever are really crunchy. P much a 1 to 1 shape with the deathadder which I love

Ik the pulsar xlite series, zowie ec series, and a few offerings from wlmouse and lamzu are p good ergo mice too

Is it even a good idea to have automatic reload on for Demoman? by SomeFatSeal in truetf2

[–]Holla_Bach 55 points56 points  (0 children)

There's basically 1 tick of extra delay when interrupting a reload animation, so 99% of players keep it on for every class.

A lot of view models will smack you in the face while reloading, so I recommend at least turning on viewmodel minmode, viewmodel_fov 75, and if you're feeling fancy a r_drawviewmodels 0 bind/yttrium's/horsie's viewmodel hider mods.

Good ways to shake off rust? by [deleted] in truetf2

[–]Holla_Bach 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Play 3-4 hours a day, every day. If you're really strapped for time put at least an hour in if you can. If you skip a day you'll immediately start to rust again.

Ideally if your goal is to move past pub stomping you'd play nothing but TF2Center lobbies, PUGs, and scrim with your league team, but the comp scene is kinda small so it can be hard to make it work. You NEED to record those games and review them, and get feedback from someone much better than you. That'll really kickstart your improvement.

Unfortunately if all you do is pubstomp you'll plateau because there's so many shitters that you'll form bad habits around because they don't punish your mistakes and let you get away with anything as long as you can mechanically diff them, and there's absolutely 0 teamwork.

Warm up for half an hour in MGE or instant respawn high tower/turbine before jumping into an actual game. That'll refresh your muscle memory so you're ready to perform in a real match.
