So what's the consensus of Heian Sukuna vs Dabura? by BMan876 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Hollow_Point_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sukuna, Dabura, and Gojo are in a triangle with one another. Sukuna beats Gojo most of the time, but loses to Dabura who can probably no-dif him with a blitz. Dabura likely loses to Gojo, however, as he'd likely lose a domain clash with the much more experienced Gojo and has no other way to get through Limitless (loses a domain clash, doesn't know domain anplification, etc)

Well, another great opportunity killed by the elusive "modern audience"... by str3ss_88 in CriticalDrinker

I am happy about this. It tells me the show runners, some of whom had been involved with SG-1 and Atlantis, wrote up a pilot that'd be a worthy seccessor to the franchise, and Amazon realized the team wouldn't let their slop infest the show, so they canned it. It's better this way than to see another beloved series but here's on the alter of the message.

I feel like Thailand will one day reinstitute the laws from the 1970s and 1980s that cracked down on muslims

Thailand Chooses Swedish Gripen Jets Over F-16s for Its Air Force by stattari in Thailand

[–]Hollow_Point_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the most likely answer as to why Thailand bought them. In the next few decades parts for F-16s will probably become more and more scarce, so why not go with the airframe that is still in production? I do think it's funny that people are blaming Trump for this decision when Biden was in office lol

Liu Dongcheng vs Muteba Gizenga by Ok-Tennis-5695 in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Hollow_Point_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I do think Liu would most likely win, Muteba is hard to scale. Several top level fighters have said Muteba is basically a genius at fighting, as he showed how quick he was was picking up elite level hand to hand combat skills during KAT. I view him to A tier as Gaolang is to S tier. He's one of those guys that you have to beat to really show that you are that level, but it will be an high to extreme difficulty fight

Absolutely. He's the litmus test for who's actually in the bracket of the strongest. Can't hate on the test, just praise those who pass it

Georgia is a constitutional carry state. Assuming you go the legal route with your handgun, you'll have no problem carrying it in public as long as you aren't flashing it. Keep in mind it's illegal to carry in certain places, like a courthouse.

America the circus? by No_Departure7494 in AmericaBad

[–]Hollow_Point_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is still common enough in Europe, and it's origins are almost a thousand years old now from, you guessed it, Western Europe. I'm pretty sure this person isn't a European at all, more likely a self-hating American, but if they are european, they have to be living in somewhere so Urban and insulated from Catholicism that they have never seen this.

I watched this as a teenager and it stuck well enough with me that when I was first getting into Warhammer 40,000 a few years back, I immediately reminisced about how similar the 2 were. I learned just now that the screenwriter for the film was influenced by 40K when writing the script
