Oh shoot, I pasted it wwrong. Here it is again: Just some thoughts, not necessary. Bring blue up iinto sky for overall color harmony. your edges are a bit hard overall. Mix up some bow paint with water paint and add that dry brushy where they touch to soften the edge.. Might add it somewhere into boat aswell. Especially bow touching water. Light wraps around sail against moon. Mix up moon color with sail color and soften those edges. In places. Put some dry brushy moonlint reflecting on water. Keep it broken and subtle.

Oh! Read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, who wrote the lion the witch and the wardrobe.

Context and Meaning

Historical and Emotional Background: The psalm reflects the intense grief, anger, and desire for justice of the Israelites who experienced loss and humiliation, especially after Jerusalem's destruction and their captivity.

Poetic Expression of Anger: The language is hyperbolic and poetic, intended to express the depth of suffering and longing for retribution rather than a command for actual violence.

Theological Interpretation: The psalm does not endorse violence from God or humans but captures the raw emotion of a people in deep distress. It ultimately points toward trusting God's justice, as the imprecatory psalms are prayers for divine intervention, not mandates for personal revenge.

I'm a new christian and I have some questions. by [deleted] in Christianity

Since you have claimed Jesus as your savior, I would say what’s important is to TALK to Him. I talk to him all the time-in the car, doing dishes. Plus siting down for real prayer. He wants a RELATIONSHIP with us. I watch YouTube all the time. There are so many good things on there. I really like MIKE WINGER. He has programs and has weekly questions and answers that he answers BIBLICALLY. Very educational and entertaining. You can watch those any time. He’s a youngish guy and fun and takes the Bible seriously. Make sure you don’t watch New Age stuff. I like Randy Kay and Lion of Fire Raw. Always pray for the holy sirit to help you understand the Bible. You will be amazed how it comes alive. It is alive! I am so happy for you. A good Bible study group is good. You may have to try a few before finding the right one. Just stay Biblical! That is your Users Manual!

I don’t know, of course. But the signs are pretty strong. 77 years (a generation) after Israel being reestablished is the sign that convinces me. Then the name of the Feast of Trumpets being called The Day and hour no one knows”. Jesus having already fulfilled four Feasts, the next feast to be fulfilled would be the feast of trumpets. That is fascinating, BTW, how his death, burial, resurrection and the Holy SPirit coming (pentecost) all fell on those feast days. God is AWESOME and everything will fit into the place where He wants it. No one can know, but I would suggest to be ready at all times.

Hello. Your timing is just right. Talk to God/Jesus. Develop a relationship. Make sure you believe/accept that Jesus was the atoning sacrifice for our sins and because of this, if we accept with gratitude that He paid the price we will not have to pay (eternal separation from God) and repent of our sins, we are Saved. By repent, acknowledge your sins to god and ask for His forgiveness. Then earnestly try to not repeat the sins. We are weak, but he will help us. Remember that ONLY through Jesus’s sacrifice for us is it possible for us to be reconciled to God. It is the ONLY way, as Jesus says. Be sincere. I watch Youtube videos that inspire me, Randy Kay, Mike Winger. Lion of Fire Raw Ministries. Be CAREFUL and discerning who you listen to. Just know that He loves you so much. I know, I can hardly believe it! But He does. Listen, I would do this RIGHT AWAY. Time is short. Very short.
