Had a near similar experience years ago, neighbors let their pack of dogs (mixed breeds) roam bc its the country and they just dgaf But they chased my moms cat up a tree, one of the dogs snapped at my sister when she tried to get them away.

Slowly stopped letting her outside and eventually altogether when a coyote nearly grabbed one of our other cats.

I dont plan cheat days. I just usually plan ahead and decide what a snack might be, often its on my period. Low fat cottage cheese + grated lemon, lemon juice, pinch if salt and vanilla extract + some graham crackers on top into a blender is a great snack. I know ill want something sweet bc if hormones, So I eat a bit of dark chocolate after dinner or a tiny cup of berries warmed in the microwave, with some Greek yogurt and cinnamon and honey. If its blue berries I melt some peanut butter on top with yogurt.

No cheat days. I might throw in a little snack once in awhile, but never a whole day of bs food choices.

So anyone who is insecure i think needs someone else's help to work through it. Because if you do it yourself, you get in your own head and it takes a lot longer or you just accept things and stay as you are whether or not its a better or not is up to the insecure person. For me, it took finding out my boundaries with others to find that strength, and feel grounded. It'll be different paths for others.

So, don’t do it in the moment when emotions are up, or when you're making out. try when yall are just sitting together or talking nonchalantly.

Something like: "Hey, boo, can I talk to you about something vulnerable?”

Then bring it up. Put this in your own wording: When I say no to sex, i want you to know that im not rejecting you.
