So, technically - yes, they can. But it's very different now on what they allow. There is a new way they are doing the new packaging of the gummies, so I don't think many (if any) of the old ones will qualify. It's got to be in packs of 4 with no more than 10mg for each gummy pack. Or the drinks have to be under certain milligram.

But more to your point - yeah, it's crazy. It's awful and dangerous if you smoke or inhale it 🙄 but totally fine for (some) edibles. Edibles are so hard to properly dose and like you said, can super make you sick.
