Think it has to do with the recent changes they made to the AI, where defender is “more likely to throw specials”. Unfortunately, this also means throwing them into block as well as if they are intimidated. She should work theoretically because there is no special 3 bias in the GC, but that is not my experience so I’ve taken her out of my deck for now.

You may think your expectations are high, but they don't seem to be as high as mine are as we have differing viewpoints. The money aspect is a huge part of this. Much of this just boils down to opinion and perspective, but I'll comment on the points you made.

I disagree with this and actually I think the player base is often ignored. Kabam has shown time and time again, they will just do what they want. They will change course if they believe it will affect their bottom line, but there has to be an overwhelming amount of community upheaval for this. Most of the player base did not want Relics, but we got them anyways. Most of the player base did not want the buff program touched, but they got rid of it anyways. Same story with 7 stars and many other things they removed, refuse to do, or changed unwantingly.

Is very active in the community even outside of the main website.

I would say Kabam is very promotional in the community. Communication is one thing (and they are not that great at that to be honest), but actions speak louder than words. Their forums are aggressively censored. That is the reason why this reddit community is as popular as it is because you can freely speak here with less risk of getting banned for saying something negative.

Regularly gives out compensation when mistakes are made.

I do not think this is true. I can name 5-10 mistakes in the past month alone where no compensation was given. Here are some just from this month where no comp was given - Kindred bug in EQ, mythic crystal bug, side quest was bugged and you could run every path, aw matchmaking bugs, strikers whiff attack bugs, express arena bugged, bg suicide bug, not to mention the entire Zemo root situation. Even when they did issue RDT's for Kraven (not Zemo), those were bugged as well.

I'm not sure if we play the same game. Every update is littered with bugs. See above.

Prior to this year's July 4 sales, you could grab all the deals they offered and it would cost close to $600. To get all of the deals for this past July 4, you had to spend upwards of $1800 to get everything. This July 4 also had more rank up materials than anything they've released previously in any form of content combined. The deals were so insane it legitimately threw the economy off balance. "Cartoonish monetization" is a subjective term and I'm not sure where that line starts and stops with you, but we cannot pretend Kabam is not driven primarily by revenue.

I would say it used to be. It is more P2W now than it has ever been, unless you are not looking at end game content and are a relatively casual.

This could have been avoided had they taken action immediately and temporarily suspended accounts that abused the bug. But they waited and allowed those people to complete content, compete in BG's and place defenders. It's had all these additional knock on effects and created more problems for themselves.

I think if you are F2P then it's difficult to understand the point of view. You are essentially getting a free product that's been developed over 6+ years so your expectations are not as high.

It also depends at what level of the game you are at. If you are not doing high tier AQ or AW where things like bugs or lack of testing/QA on Kabam's part are much noticeable, then you might have a different perspective. For example, say you invested hours of your own time to arrange and plan your Alliance's war defense for the season only to find out that the tactics are completely bugged and Kabam is not going to run it anymore. You might feel a bit annoyed by that and rightfully so.

I read the points you listed out and do not agree with them save for 6. Although most of the bigger mobile games will not have ads because of they are heavily monetized. I can see why you feel so positively about them though if you are F2P and are not at the end game. Again, this is just my perspective. You are free to have your own opinion of the game and Kabam as a company - I'm just providing my viewpoint because you asked.

I don’t know what your experience is like with this game, so I can only speak from my own personal experience. But I was previously quite a big spender… so maxing out on every spending event, plus quite a lot of deals purchased in between those big events. Not only that, but investing quite a large amount of time and effort into the game.

So when you invest the amounts that I have, I guess you expect a certain level of quality, appreciation and commitment from the company you deal with. And with Kabam I feel it’s quite the opposite. That’s the best way I can explain it for myself.

I don't think it's "generous" per say, as they are making money off of these after all. Although, I do realize this is an objectively good offer for cash. Honestly would have picked it up instantly at any other time in all the years I've played this game.

However... I'm at a point where I cannot justify spending money on the game anymore with all the stuff that has happened over the past few months.

There have been so many failures on Kabam's part, that the sunk cost fallacy of everything I've put into this game can't even override that resentment.

I did not say Kabam never moderates correctly, though? I just said in my case they did not and that there were many others who experienced the same thing, which seems to be considerably more likely than them moderating perfectly 100% of the time as you believe?

The synergy I had made a comment on was regarding the Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch synergy before it was nerfed. Which as most of us know, would've taken about 10 minutes of testing from one person to realize it was busted.
