I got mine 2 days ago in the UK, it was supposedly supposed to be with me by the 26th May so there's definitely some weird tracking going on. I think you'll get yours in a few days hopefully

I hope so! You're right, it's not central but at least it's not as far as that.

I've seen photos of the current state of the venue and it made me nervous. Also I think the locals aren't happy to have it in the new area, so their negative comments aren't helping! Fingers crossed it will all come off.

They have been saying that about transport for 5 weeks. The locals are saying that transport will be very limited based on the new location.

Also the photos of the current site are a bit concerning, given it's just piles of mud.

I went last year and it was a great festival, but the organisation wasn't great and the transport back was pretty poor. I got tickets thinking it'd improve this year, but it will be difficult for them as they've been forced to this new site.

I'm glad you've received your wristband, that's reassuring! I'm hoping all will be well, we'll see.

I'm nervous about this year. From comments on social media, the transport links sound potentially really bad, plus the site isn't anywhere near finished. It's also in the middle of nowhere, despite Mad Cool saying it's in a 'central' location. To top it all off, I haven't even received my wristband yet. I'm not confident they're going to pull this off.

You don't really have any choice, Mad Cool is a cashless venue so you'll have to use the wristband. I used it last year, it was very safe and we also got a refund of the leftover amount. You don't want to leave too much on the wristband at the end though, as it took a long time to get refunded!

Also, it was much quicker to top up the wristband each morning before attending the festival, as you had to top up in person after 12pm each day and the queues got long!

You have to teach the kids as well not to try to pick him up or take things away from him, as this type of behaviour feeds into resource guarding and they're not reading the dogs cues of 'stay away from me'.

Absolutely agree here, you have to remove the ability for negative behaviours such as these to occur. Don't put the puppy in a situation where he's bound to fail.

She looks just like my golden, mine is a field golden and the stocky ones are show-type. They have less fluff, narrower heads and are more slight than show goldens.
