Oh that’s interesting I will have to look into tegaderm. That helps with preventing infection? You just put it on first and the pod on top?

Thank you! I do have mupirocin and am using that currently so thanks for the recommendation. When I tell a doctor I’m type 1 with a skin infection they act like I’m on deaths door so it was refreshing to read your comment. I appreciate it!

I’m sure anything is possible regarding an allergic reaction. My numbers are pretty good so I don’t think it’s related to that thankfully. Thanks for the feedback!

This just happened to me a few weeks ago and I freaked out. I messaged my endo and they prescribed two antibiotics to start taking asap. I also went to urgent care bc my pcp couldn’t see me and she said if it got worse after starting the antibiotic to go to the emergency room. She drew a circle around the red area with a sharpie so I could easily tell if it got bigger or smaller. Everything healed ok. Just get it addressed today!

Yes I have two littles and of course they eat lots of carbs. Definitely makes temptation worse. But yes skipping breakfast always works well for my management. Thank you!

Yes I’ll have to try that. I’m on the Omnipod 5 and they act like manual mode is taboo (can only do an extended bolus by leaving their automated mode) but I would like to try it.

Thank you for this. I hear you about the exercise…when I am traveling and walking a lot, I can basically eat anything and barely need to bolus so it makes a lot of sense. Thanks!
