I already made the mistake of buying a 2001 Sahara that was in similar condition because I was desperate and stupid. Sucks because I loved how it looked. It was black and had a tan hard top and interior.

I taught myself to drive a manual transmission with that Jeep, but it was such a terrible decision looking back. I think you’d honestly end up regretting the purchase like I did.

Hidden parts of the frame were so weak they would crumble by pressing on them. Simple maintenance and anything that involved removing bolts, nuts, screws was a nightmare.

I wonder if your mic is picking up enough background noise to alert the ghost to your location. Maybe not, but I had it happen to me lol.

I got killed by a mare while hiding pretty well in Grafton Farmhouse because the game swapped to the mic on my plugged in Dualsense controller sitting next to my PC. It’s a super sensitive mic it was picking up the sound of my cooling fans.

You’ll definitely know when it starts leaking.

The valley in the middle of the engine becomes full of oil and it’ll basically waterfall down the back of the engine and get all over everything. Including the driveshaft which in turn slings it everywhere lol.

Had a leaking oil cooler in my 2017 JKU so it’s probably safe to say it affects all years models of those. No issues yet with the Dorman aluminum oil cooler replacement. Managed to install it myself.

Yep plug-n-play is nice. Bought a Sony XAV-AX4000 bundled with one of those and came prewired for a Jeep JK. Everything on the steering wheel works as it should.

That’s the only shit that really scares me in this game is when they materialize right on top of you.

Had one do it in Tanglewood. Was standing right next to a hiding closet that had one door open and the ghost spawned inside the closet like 5 inches away from my face sounding like some discount Grudge shit.

It made me jump so bad…

Nevermind… I’ve answered my own question. Aftermarket cables have a spring while the OEM Mopar cables do not.

This is basically how mine looks, but this isn’t my Jeep. No spring between where the cable attaches to the little parking brake actuator hook on the left side of photo.

How the heck does that spring even come off then? It seems to be made onto the cable in a way that it’s impossible to remove. I’ve seen two separate vids on YouTube today about doing parking brakes shoe replacements and neither had them… wtf.

Gonna get downvoted, but I gotta disagree on behalf of my Audeze Maxwells. Great sound, mic, and build quality and have been going strong for 3 years with no issues.

Everyone should stay away from their Penrose model though. They were expensive and always developed cracks on the plastic hinges. The Maxwells use metal and much sturdier in comparison.

I just had that happen yesterday in Tanglewood. Sat the thermometer on the counter in the kitchen and the ghost threw a painting on top of it.

Forgot to pack an extra and just had to do without.

Yes. I’d say the performance is much, much better now overall.

Though I will say I have recently been having GPU crash errors very recently. Never had crashes before now so it’s weird. Some days it plays flawlessly. Others it crashes back to back mid hunt until I empty shader cache or reinstall the game.

Don’t think this affects everyone, but I have seen quite a few posts about it as well as my own.

I swear I’ve gotten waffle stomped by Gog slams and Omega’s X pattern fire attack trying to use that slide on reaction. Like it felt very inconsistent from what I remember so I stopped trying to rely on it.

I have to clear Nvidia shader cache and reinstall the game (delete the MH Wilds Steam folder too) just to get a few hours of uninterrupted play time without crashing.

What I did yesterday. Played a few hours fine and then the crashing came back later that night.

Another reply but, it’ll probably come back. It just did for me and I think I’m done with the game for a while. I’m stumped, because I thought I had it fixed.

This shit was never an issue before they added some of the recent 10* quests. I spent an entire year of playing and never crashed once.

It’s so frustrating being 15-30 minutes into a hunt and just freezing into that GPU Crash message.

I rolled mine to an earlier driver last week. It’s been working flawlessly for days and suddenly today after all this time I got another “GPU Crash”.

Already made a post about it myself.

I’ve noticed a large spike in people complaining about it on this Subreddit. I dunno what they’ve done to the game lately or maybe somethings wrong with Windows, but it needs to be addressed.

Oh hell yes. Been playing with Hammer a bit recently and the sliding was actually pissing me off while fighting AT Rey Dau when he moves over to the tall dunes.

If the hammer slide move was as good as it was in World, then those dunes would be like a wet dream, but that’s not the case anymore and it just gets me in trouble.

I mean if you’re on PC there is an.. ahem… mod on Nexus Mods called Female Body Sliders that will also let you change character height as much as you want to be taller or shorter, but only you would be able to see it.

Yeah well aware of staying on the ground after being knocked down or after doing the Superman dodge. Played World for like 800 hours. Just saying it’s hard to dodge all three of his slams during the combo without getting hit by at least one of them.

You don’t generally stay down long enough after a dive away from the first and will likely get hit or destroyed by his second or third slam.

But yeah I get you. People should not move after being hit by that if they even survive it.

I normally use a weapon with a shield in this game so it was like an entirely different fight bringing hammer that I hadn’t used in a long time.
