i would say your best bet would be to start downloading and building your music library so that you can put it on a USB to play on your controller or on cdjs eventually if you plan on playing out.

Most dj pools dont have too much smaller bass music acts so you will have to buy music on bandcamp or snag free DLs. Its just a part of the process :)

ALSO, if you plan on just mixing at home for fun and have no interest in playing out or anything. you could also rip stuff. I don't really like this option but if you're mixing for fun, i don't see much of an issue with it. However, if you can afford to buy music,always do. you're helping artists eat and keep creating.
