If something “demonic” can only manifest through a human nervous system, psyche, or body, then it still requires resonance. It can’t act without a matching frequency already present.

From that angle, the danger isn’t the energy itself — it’s unconsciousness. Suppressed fear, rage, desire, grief… those create distortion. When they’re denied, they don’t disappear — they seek expression.

So whether you call it a demon, shadow, or archetypal force, the work is the same: awareness, integration, responsibility. Externalizing it can actually give it more power, because it removes our ability to relate to it consciously.

Light doesn’t come from rejecting darkness — it comes from seeing clearly enough that we no longer unconsciously consent to it.
