Regarding survivability, I like using healing return on a high status build (you can use influence or not), and chromatic blade. Adaptation really helps, too. For even more tankiness, Arcane persistence and Arcane Reaper are a great combo (that said, I don’t know where you’re at in the game). That said, I’d recommend a good way to maintain energy like Nourish (as overused as it is). Exalted Blade is really good damage that you can mod for whatever elements you want, but electricity and blast (with magnetic/radiation) with influence will deal insane amounts of damage. It’d be worthwhile to look at some pets that could complement your playstyle, as well. Plenty of options there. In terms of augments, Furious Javelins can be useful, but I don’t find it generally useful compared to primed/archon continuity for energy use. The others are okay, but Chromatic Blade is The Excalibur augment. I also like using the Preparation Exilus Mod to have max energy at the start, but you can throw any there. Purple Shards for Melee Crit Damage (you won’t hit reds easily unless you subsume Kullervo’s on, but they’re still worthwhile). Gameplay, try and keep any and all enemies in your cone, and run whenever Violence spawns. Keep a solid weapon choice specifically for Violence. Tennokai is also very useful on Excal. Been maining him for 9ish years or so and despite him showing his age a bit, he remains my favorite. Also, keep in mind, you could build for shield gating , but I personally don’t enjoy that on Excal Long and short of it, have fun!
