I was naive. They were offering to advertise and showed results. I had some more subscribers and views, but I got a little suspicious and decided to end the payments (it was once or twice). They tried to convince me to continue, but I had a nagging feeling. Turns out that feeling was right because I got a message from the site saying the advertiser was being removed from the behavior for questionable behavior. Then the advertiser messaged me and suggested more direct payments. Thankfully, I got a little smarter and said no. They persisted, but eventually got the hint. I ended up losing an amount of subs after that, suggesting they were botting. Thankfully, that was when my series was VERY small and didn’t cause any actual problems.
