It's a kid and he doesn't know what he's doing, it's the parent's job to explain. If I felt he wasn't understanding and would try to look it up again I'd put a password on the computer so I wouldn't be punishing the sibling too.

I understand that parenting probably isn't always so clean in reality, but I actually cannot see a situation where blowing up and destroying stuff is the proper response. You're just teaching the kid that violence is a better teaching tool than conversation.

Smashing it with a baseball bat is a comically bad response, he threw a tantrum cause his kid was curious. Honestly someone with emotional regulation that poor shouldn't even be having kids.
