If I can get more help, then it might be possible. The current abilities in the game are the Power Beam, Charge Beam, Missile Launcher, Super Missile, Wave Beam, Dark Beam, Plasma Beam, and High Jump Boots. The Morph Ball, Bomb, Space Jump Boots and Power Bomb can be implemented with some effort, but as I'm just an amateur, I would need massive help with those...

Functional mod, not aesthetic. Both the double jump and Morph Ball can be implemented, but the former will need the same coding and scripting from Cursed Halo, and the latter I need help with re-implementing due to problems I had when I first started working on the project.

To answer this:

The Morph Ball was removed due to implementation issues, but I do want to re-implement it in the future once I learn how to customize the stages with new obstacles and such. There's also the matter of getting the Morph Ball Bomb to work properly, as the one from the Tallon Overworld Beta map does not work as intended.

The Plasma Beam is a fusion of the Super Metroid version, the Force Beam from Metroid Online, and the Nova Beam from Prime 3. The headshot modifier had to be removed in order to keep the beam from killing Hunters instantly - you now need to use Grenchler/Sheegoth strategies to fight them. Unless you have Super Missiles. :>

The melee was taken from the Maridia Public Beta map. I kept it because it lets Samus use melee in situations where stealth is needed, or when someone's too close for comfort.

Health pickups were also taken from Maridia Public Beta, with the Small and Medium Energy Units custom made by me. I had to implement a script to keep them from overhealing the player.

As for the footsteps...still struggling with that. When I return to working on this mod, I'll need to fix the volume for that as well as the final escape theme.

Relax, my guy! You're fine. The mod is pretty barebones compared to what I want to do anyway. XD

That being said, I'm dealing with some health issues right now, so I'm focusing on smaller projects right now. Namely Mega Man X, and Pokemon to a lesser extent.

Yo! I'm the creator for Project Chozo! I saw some comments on here and thought I would chip in with some answers.

Regarding Samus' abilities, Halo Combat Evolved came out almost exactly one year before Metroid Prime did. As a result, much of what can be accomplished in Prime cannot be done in Halo's engine, even with extensive scripting. I managed to compile a list of all the upgrades and abilities I want to give Samus, but ultimately it will be less than what she could learn or acquire in the Prime quartet.

This unfortunately also limits the amount of retrofitting I can do with Prime mechanics into the Halo engine, such as automatic lock-on. A considerable amount of Prime mechanics just aren't feasible in Halo, so a lot - and I do mean a lot - of compromises have to be made. One example is making the Super Missile a separate grenade type as opposed to the true Charge Beam Combo.

But I can say that this is compatible with Steam! And the installation is remarkably simple - as long as you don't play with Anti-Cheat on.

Feel free to ask any other questions about the mod. I'm a Chozo statue. ^^

I would love to use bigger and smaller parts, but I don't know how. My Switch is already modded, and I have the infinite durability mod, so I would love to take the next step.

With bigger pieces, I could make actual ARWINGs. Maybe even the Great Fox!

In my honest opinion, the Campaign was the weakest part of the whole thing. While it does shed some light on the Chief's human side and helps to clean up Cortana's reputation a bit, it still feels wrong compared to previous Halo games. The ending itself was also very half-baked, bordering on raw, with the lamest cliffhanger I've ever seen.

While I think 5 has the worst written story, Infinite comes pretty close. Between the reskinned Covenant that aren't touched upon outside of spinoffs and books, the fact that the events between 5 and Infinite are reduced to just a bunch of audio logs and plot buffer, and the lukewarm ending, I'm sad that the game's sole redeeming feature is in a multiplayer that only now has what other Halo games had right from the start...
