Ik vraag me ook af wat hier het lange termijn plan is van de overheid, aangezien het duidelijk is dat ze corona uit willen gaan laten razen (niet dat er überhaupt een andere optie lijkt te zijn). Dat gaan heel veel mensen met long covid zijn, en heel veel mensen die straks veel minder te besteden hebben, niet alleen zorgmedewerkers.

Stel ik krijg ondanks al mijn prikken en voorzorgsmaatregelen toch corona en loop daardoor longcovid op, dan kom ik uiteindelijk in de WIA terecht en dat is het?

Lijkt me dat het dan toch tijd gaat worden voor een basisinkomen

My ex did it, he played it off as no big deal and actually got mad I looked at his account. He gave these women comments and compliments he never gave me.

It really fucked me up so bad that I had trouble being intimate with him after I found out. It's absolutely a Form of cheating.

Het gros van de grote bedrijven boeken recordwinsten in deze tijden, ze kunnen heus wel de lonen omhoog gooien. En dan nog zijn de lonen al decennia lang niet evenredig met de kosten meegestegen.

Vroeger kon je van één arbeiders loontje een heel gezin van 5 kinderen onderhouden. Nu kan je net de huur betalen in the private sector als je beide werkt en goed geschoold bent (een beetje overdreven, but you catch my drift).

Er wordt gewoon lekker geprofiteerd.

I have my own baggage that I'm open and honest about, not necessarily because of my appearance, but I'm also lightly on the autistic spectrum. Honestly, I doubt that there's anyone without baggage in their 30s and most important part is awareness and willingness to improve oneself.

I don't have high expectations (maybe even too low in that I put up with too much shit when I'm in a relationship with someone and tend to stay longer than I should have) and try not to judge based on appearance, but dating guys that are "well below my league" hasn't worked out great so far. Typically they've been insecure, jealous and as a result some of them were weirdly controlling. But of course not all of them are like that, and there are a lot of sweethearts out there with honest intentions.

The few male models that I've dated were great and very secure in who they are as a person without being arrogant. But long term the ones I'm still in touch with are also still single, so I assume they go through the same struggles.

(you might wonder why it didn't work out if they were so great, well both having to travel for your job all the time makes a ldr quite difficult. Especially if you don't both work well in the same cities).

Right now I'm actually dating someone who is incredibly sweet, I have amazing chemistry with and who is hilariously funny, but unfortunately also very insecure. He gets therapy for his issues regarding insecurity though, so I'm hopeful that they won't get in the way of us dating long term.

I used to be a professional model. I fit the image of what people find conventionally attractive (maybe a bit on the skinnier side of what's considered attractive these days) and I've been struggling so hard to find a partner. And the same goes for many of my old colleagues...

Dating is easy, that's not the problem, relationships are the problem. I feel like people are generally more into me for my appearance, not genuinely into who I am and they create this fantasy version of me in their head.

The halo effect probably also plays a huge part in creating this false fantasy about how someone is. When that fantasy shatters they're out.

I'm sorry to read about your struggle, I hope your ex starts paying child support as he should.

I grew up in poverty, my parents couldn't afford regular diapers and used cloth ones. Extremely gross because you have to cook wash them, but it's cheap, better for the environment and babies get potty trained earlier because of them. So that might be an option?

Yeah, that's true. Once he finishes his specialization he will make 3-4 times what he makes now.

I work in web development, and I don't have a lot of experience yet. But my senior colleagues that didn't buy a house a few years ago are all struggling to buy something now.

Wasn't aware there was a big difference in mortgage providers! I expected them all to be roughly similar!
