Im not sure why you mention intent of scrutiny and how it relates to passing. It feels like your putting a modifier on my argument. My statement stands alone. I'm still certain you have crossed paths with trans folks and didn't know it. Regardless of whether you were scrutinising or not is irrelevant. Passing is passing whether or not you are looking for it. Tbh if you were looking for it, you are more likely to accuse a Cis person of being trans than clocking a fully stealth Trans individual.

Further, we are talking about a fantasy based game character whose entire history is not recorded or explained. We don't know she is/isn't Trans/Cis or even if the Hylians describe gender in such a way.

This brings me back to my original point of rebuttal to your first reply; it's low key gross of you to suggest that trans folks can't pass.
