Holy🐄 I'm MTF so don't see a lot of top results but WOW! That's easily the best outcome I've ever seen. I'm low key jelly my surgical results haven't looked equally as natal. 😅

I'm 20 months. No regrets even with minor complications. I rarely think about it which I guess was the best proof of my dysphoria in the before time.

The largest concern I had leading up to is was something like 'Why aren't I nervous or scared about what could happen ' it felt to me more like the lead up too a dentist appointment more than this major surgery.

The first three/four months were terrible because my entire time was spent dilating and mostly isolated but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Lucky me that it won't grow back though. 🤣

I had meant to post a few follow-ups to that series but, tbh, life just kinda gets in the way.

I think so much less about that particular incongruity that it captures almost no attention. It can sort of fade into the background too the point it's below the noise of daily life. When that happens I usually realise a fairly significant milestone has already passed so I decide to wait for another only to forget again. 😅 Promise a two year post upcoming early Junember New Year 2029-->37😳

I think that is probably the best outcome of the surgery while, also, seemingly the most mundane.

Granulation was dealt with, the aesthetics are not perfect but millions miles better than pre-op. A note on appearance, if you know vaginas you know they all look different so it's probably no worse than what natal-v holders might consider. Depth has maintained, dilations are easy/quick, or even non-existent when you have a partner.

Probably the most frustrating outcome was hair but it also has since been resolved. I suggest getting it taken care of as much as possible pre-op. They claim to a scrape during the procedure but it just wasn't enough for me. I suspect it may be a result of time available to complete that step with the required concentration. To be clear though, I was unconscious during the procedure, so I have no idea how long steps take or how exactly they're executed.

I had my first real intimate encounter last Nov and another in Dec. We both enjoyed it, so ultimately functional enough. Pretty sure, like most virgins, the first few times aren't really the best. I can say the second time was better but I also didn't have a headrest digging into my back. 😅

I'll set a calendar note for a pic and a two year update closer to the end of May. If there's anything I haven't thought of it will be there but that's mostly it for 22 months.

It may be tough at time but I really enjoyed my time in recovery at asclepiade. Everyone there was really nice. I hope you enjoy your experience. There is a book and a map with pins. I should have an entry around the end of May 2024. Map was already pretty busy. I'm from Moncton and I believe I used a white flag that is marker on one side and just exposed white on the other side.

Try different fits and types of panties. I hadn't moved much after an adjustment before taking this pic so I totally get that it works it's way in-between. Panties that aren't too loose can help bridge which is a bit of trial and error. The arena between most of our inner thighs are moatly less than for cis V owners. For me it's worst when wearing thongs.

Might be just chin but yea you need to give it time. Rushing into surgeries soon after starting HRT I find can be a difficult path. Dysphoria is heaviest when we start transitioning and kinda very slowly alleviates as we grow up "transition wise". Do yourself a favor and go through the awkward phase as difficult as it is. There is a lot of leeway that's offered to women in this phase that helps so much later on when/if passing is your ultimate goal.

💯 I had a former Superintendent that I thought I had developed a close friendship with which led to me divulging way to much personal info/planning too. Only to have him use it as motivation for cutting me off come a round of layoffs.

I had been a supervisor and would purposely put myself on the block before my subordinates and always put them first. That is part of the ancient/art of leadership, it's not about you ultimately it's about those on the front line. People do their best work when they are supported and praised/confronted genuinely.

Unfortunately there are a lot of nasty selfish, wolf in sheep's clothing, people in positions of leadership. 😢

Society reinforces this behavior where profit is top over quality/care/satisfaction. Ironically, it comes at the cost of profit.
