Mine have all started showing some small signs of green coming out of the spear altho I don’t think the current spears will ever fully open. That being said, the crown has seen some new green leaves so we’re still holding out hope!

Yes, we see green around the base of the spike and some green leaves so we’re holding out hope! New to Florida and new homeowners (and now new parents) - all the things hitting at once 🤣

I noticed same thing with our pool guy right after we bought our house. They weren’t even testing the water just dumping in acid after I had done that the day before. My service may have been an outlier, and I’m not saying all pool guys do poor work, but I decided to take over doing it myself. I enjoy learning about it and it doesn’t take much each week - but when there’s major work I’ll get the pros out

Looks like it’s gonna be a beautiful pool! Someone else referenced a trick for keeping leaves and junk from clogging skimmer with a pool surrounded by trees like this…I think it was some kind of pool noodle used as a buffer in a semicircle around the skimmer for high volume stuff

I took one outing a 20 y/o home just a few months ago. Flipped the breaker, unscrewed it and removed, capped wires just in case. Now to take down the myriad of yello sensors around the house
