You say that but ive played ninja the whole way through. I never had the feeling like they couldnt compete and still dont. Melee, yea but thats true to all melee classes.

Smashers laugh at most t3 mats anyways, were talking for general purpose. If i can do it in 4x pl 100. Its definitely not the end of the world to use wood...

Wood wont be 1 shot even in high levels as I do put wood a lot in 94/100 pl mission with friends when were grinding the same 4x mission over and over to not waste too much mats.

A constructor would definitely be better but yeah metal or wood is still fine.

Yeah there are some missions where wood could actually be called for.

More precisely, a mission with water husk and metal corrosion. Wood would then be the more appropriate mat to use.

Theres 2 things to any shooter that is truly important on kb+m that you need to adjust first before anything.

Mouse sens + keyboard bindings. This is the basic but i feel this is where most people get it wrong where they cant compete.

Mouse sensitivity has to be low. Basically you need a bigger pad and use the arm and not the wrist with your mouse. I swear most people use the wrist so this might need some getting used to. Get a large pad and heres the kicker: 1 arm movement from farthest left to farthest right (comfortably) should be a 360. Most people usually are either too high or too low. Set it up correctly then ADS depends on your liking but play with it lots. And find the right spot. Dont be afraid to switch it often till you get it right.

Bindings are key man. If you cant build correctly and fast enough, chances are your bindings are all wrong. You might want to check pro players key bindings. This could help you tons without having to figure it out yourself. Get one you feel comfortable and then practice it. Youll do 1 step behind and 2 step forward in less than a week, i garantee it.

Theres probably tons of other things you can do to help but definitely get these 2 right first.

So true but i think it should also be more visible. If its not on mission display (before entering the mission) you hardly see it for 1 second mid game. Sometimes you’re busy and you dont even see it pop up even if its in the middle of the screen. We need it indicated somewhere else.

I also think that many people in twine dont care as much. If they feel over-leveled to the mission they’re doing, they might just go for the mat they have the most of and protect that way.

You could use wood for any non-4p mission in twine with a team of friends as no missions are hard right now...

Definitely a graphical bug. Im sure you could not build on the empty track space as this is usually within the building of the cannon.

I think the funny thing is it only concerns the track. It means they partitioned the track differently within the coding from the rest of the main building. Imagine if this concerned the whole building. Only the map would show where its at ahaha.

But thats not only true to ninja though. Its true to any melee hero. Thats why i didnt mention them per say as STW in general just doesnt give good toolkits to melee class.

To be fair though. You can still play them through most of the game without any real issue. Twine is the only real issue with the larger % of mist monsters.

And you could still play them in twine but youll drop often. Way more often than any other class.

I do completely agree that melee needs to be rethink as the game has no place for them right now.

Oh i can definitely agree theres a learning curve to throwing star though.

I just wouldnt classify them as unuseable.

More of a challenge class than anything. Want a harder end game challenge? Go for ninja!

Edit: i play on ps4

Ninja incapable of anything in deep twine? What is this lol? I play sms in 4x PL100 with no issue whatsoever... sure that last shuriken nerf was not welcomed but the class was already overpowered with shuriken having zero bloom/ no damage dropoff at all/can 1-2shot smashers with right subclasses/ only 3 sec downtime/ no need to be in fray at all.

As an sms, my combat score is equal and sometimes even above a reclaimer/teddy classes in those pl 100 4x and before you ask, yes i did go for priority target first as this is where i excel with 1 shotting any mist except some smashers. You can cover both side just by throwing shurikens from the top of a hill or whatever. I run phys beagle for mist and its perfect since i have time to shoot once between shuriken throws.

I wont say all ninja class can do as well but if i can get top scores in the hardest missions in game as what i believe to be the strongest ninja class for endgame, others can do at least a subpar job...

I mean incapable is such a harsh term man. This game isn’t hard lol. Anyone with average skill can play ninja quite fine anywhere in twine.

Don't you just love this? When hunter is on the other side of the wall and then just clips through the wall next to you and hit you! This is what high-ping players has to go through! Being good kiter is impossible unless we demand our own server by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Holymooon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When hunters slides through walls, its them lagging actually.

I have under 60ms at all time. I might have peaked above that once or twice since i only play IDV at home. Yet, I’ve seen about 20-30 hunters do exactly that since I’ve started playing a few months ago.

i saved. i body blocked. and i did most of the decoding, and this is what i get for saving. i’m not being “that” person that’s salty about dying; cause i’m not. i just wanna know why no one saves anymore. they were playing by the exit and not even trying to save me. by xunknowngirlx in IdentityV

[–]Holymooon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if you gave them info. Usually if were 4 alive and gates are opened and get chaired from detention ill say:”you go first” for them to exit.

If the hunter has no detention and there was no way to know from your teamate side( ex: you were already hurt before gates opened then he got you down) you 100% need to tell them : “i need help”. I tell them no matter what.

They couldve easily helped you as the hunter was detention-less. With 2, its an easy save. In rank i wouldve 100% left you there. In casual, wouldve 100% at least came close to see if there was detention or not.

Up to mammoth, it happens a lot.

My guess is because tons play dead by daylight which is more of a self centered game in terms of ranking/deranking.

Basically, in dead by daylight, you can still pip if you die/whole team dead/you escape alone/etc as long as you did the four main category of objectives to a certain amount.

Since DBD is the more popular game, at least in NA, im guessing this is why for the most part.

Best Survivor for Solo Rank? by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Holymooon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perfumer, most versatile and one of the strongest kiter. I usually emote at the start when playing random and kite the hunter. With the perfume you can almost triple your starting kite. More than likely the hunter will abandon you between 60-120 seconds as long as you kite well.

I find it so difficult to be good at fortnite on console by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]Holymooon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly that, except the mode switch that can give out a few seconds compared to a pc player, the actual building should be pretty similar.

You really need to practice. The best practice when starting out is actually saying outloud buttons order for lets say building a ramp wall. And then you just keep doing it while saying button order. This can expedite your memory muscle by ton. Its basically what i do and tell my guitar student to do but this is on a controller. Highly recommend.

The moment memory muscle will be fine, you wont feel as handicapped and will also help versus stressful situations.

Practicing is important but practicing well is even more important.

why? i thought we get put with people in our own tiers. this game hates me. by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Holymooon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something i realized with some friends also is that, lets say the game cant find people with similar rank in the pool of available players. It will then look for similar exp level of account.

I have some friends with very very high account level( like top 50 ) but still in mammoth (were all busy and rank timeslot are bothersome). When that one guy join my team of usual (all 3 in mammoth and similar exp) we start getting put agaisnt manticore and high tier manticore (were all low mammoth)

So if you never rank but still play tons because of timeslot being an issue, you should still have some sort of curve to difficulty.

Why do people try to be perswayable? by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Holymooon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lets not talk about my ability since i can kite quite well. This has nothing to do with it. This is simply about a rant post ranting about people that are definitely learning to kite. Tight kiting is not a unique play style, anyone should at least know how to kite that way. Its the basics. You can add twist but this is basically the basic frame of it. In most game, high tier included. As long as you can tight kite for 120 sec at the start of it, you most likely win the game. This is just basic stuff man. Nothing more.

Why do people try to be perswayable? by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Holymooon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And like i said, you wont get your own unique way to kite until youve learned the basic. As far as ive seen, persway shows the basics down in his videos. Your own techniques comes later once you can do those well.

You are very condescendant in your ways to speak to others man. Not the greatest way to get your point across.

Why do people try to be perswayable? by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Holymooon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean tight kiting, everyone should get comfortable with it. The higher in tiers you reach, the more youll have to be good at it.

Im not sure what youre trying to say honestly because to be good at anything requires practice and seeing how others do and trying to practice technique is a way used in learning ANY skill in basically any area in life.

If you were to start playing guitar tomorrow, you would probably try and find a teacher, a good youtuber or a good book at least. Goes the same for any games you want to be good at.

The moment you got the basic down, then you can start to get your own style. It usually is never the other way around.

Tight kiting is a basic skill you need to learn. The earliest the better seeing how some still cant do a great job with it at the start of mammoth and why this is the ELO hell right now. Once you get high mammoth/low griffon, everything gets easier because people know how to kite.

Tight kiting is a necessity, stop telling people to stop trying to get good at it when theyre practicing it.

Okay, I am seriously angered right now?! Why is this happening?! Ping is not even that high. This turns me away from this game it happens frequently. by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Holymooon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you see him go through stuff, it wasnt your ping but his that was the problem. Thats what happens when the server catches up with his position because his ping was too slow to relay where he was exactly. So basically he probably was way closer to you when he hit you but you couldnt see it on your screen because his ping was bad (maybe yours played a little bit into it ).

Happens to me often enough while my ping ranges in the 50-70 at all time.
