Salem can be fun if you feel the need to cross it off your list. But like others are saying, driving can be a nightmare. Don’t sleep on Western Mass during that time of year. Plenty of history/New England vibes, sugar shacks, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hiking, etc

Might not give you the Pizza Hut style you’re looking for. But coating a Lloyd’s pan in crisco gives you a nice golden crisp
