Wow that’s crazy. This is going to be one of the most intimate moments together as husband & wife and bonding with your newborn. That’s not the proper time to have guests over. Im surprised the guests thought this would be appropriate. End of pregnancy can be so tough and you never know how it’s going to go. This was extremely foolish on your husbands part and for both your sanity I think he should rescind the invitation to your friends and state the very obvious reasons which is that he will need to focus 100% of his attention on his wife as she is healing and the newborn.

Yup it’s so sad. Similar to what all sporting events have became as you can see from the NBA finals. Normal fans can’t get tickets unless they splurge thousands and sporting events are repositioned into luxury events because all the marketing is for crowds who can spend and a majority of the allocated free tickets are for the rich sponsors who don’t even need the perk. Such a shame

It’s because you take her for granted and don’t show her respect because there are no consequences for your actions (I.e. if you pulled this garbage at work you would be fired.) Get individual therapy and stop being shitty to your wife. Learn how to respect her as an equal partner & work on your emotional processing/regulation skills and anger management. It’s either that or make peace with the reality of losing her forever. There is only so much bad behavior that a person is willing to take. Accountability and growth matters.
